You need to ask more specific questions.

This is a shameless plug, but I've run a computer repair business for over two years in Butler, PA and two days ago I launched a complete computer restoration package called "Computer Restoration ToolKit".

This may be exactly what you're looking for, or it might be completely off, but I think it is worth taking a look at.

I've created a separate post for this offer:

Computer Restoration - Real Business Opportunity

    Good luck with your business.

First things first. You'll need to file a DBA (doing business as) for your company name. Then locate your area small business development center and attend one of their " How to start a business" sessions. The cost is usually free or less than $30.

I recommend you take those steps first. If you do not have a SBDC in your area, contact me for a business coaching session.

Crunchbug seems to know alot about your market i would personally use his invention which he is selling on ebay, i think.

This system he has invented could help and save time when repairing customers computers, but then again it could offer you something that you have never tried or used before.

Remember like someone said before ''start small'' because, your the only worker and if you take to much work on you'll never be able t ocomplete it on time and then other customers may not use your services you are providing.

You might have decent luck with a corporate computer repair service...if you can solve networking issues as well.

    -or-

In my local market, a guy has started advertising a "fix your computer for a flat fee" deal. It works like this: you drop your computer off at his store and he and his staff will fix any problem that you have for a flat fee. I think that it is like $50. You could try doing that. Marketing should be fairly cheap as you could just walk around and put fliers on doors.

    Hope that helps.

LMAO, this is a joke right? You sound like one of those speakers at an 'I can make your business work' seminars where they say a lot but say nothing. What you have just said is as obvious as 'Profit is good, Loss is bad, why? Because jesus is the messiah!'

lol tattoo, you are like my very own mini-me. It seems that you only reply to my posts now, and make no real contribution to this forum. I'm sorry if you have a personal problem with me, but keep it to yourself or tell me your problems via private message as I suggested before. You just embarrass me and yourself every time you do this.

i have a problem with your attitude towards others. i think you are running off good new people on herre when you make rude comments to them. i have no interest in you, matter of fact i could care less about you. but i am not afraid to stand up when i feel you are wrong by what you say to others. embarrased? why would i be embarrased? you dont know me, nor does anyone else. you dont know what i am about. i could care less what you think. but everytime you deliberately belittle a person on this forum i am going to show up. no one should have to put up with it.

Ok batman you do that. Oh and by the way read what your saying, because people who say 'I could care less' are saying it wrong. The phrase is "I couldn't care less" because ' I could care less' means that you DO care to a certain extent...just some advice.
