    Lightbulb Huge Potential, Low Risk

Sorry, I think I posted in wrong forum so here it is in the opportunity section .

Recently I got information on a new technology that looks like it will revolutionize the already giant healthcare sector. The technology is based off of Nobel Prize winning technology. The scientific name is the “Biophotonic Scanner” and what it does is absolutely amazing. It is the 1st ever non invasive real time measurement of the human antioxidant status, in lamens terms it tells people their overall nutrition status and if the vitamin they are taking works or not. Think about it.

There are over 1,500 vitamin and nutrition companies in the United States alone, and thousands more worldwide. If ever there was an industry ripe for consolidation, this is it. In 2005, it was a $23 billion industry, just in the U.S., worldwide it’s a $100 billion. Think of that, a $100 billion of supplements consumed and no one knows whether they work or not, until now!

If all we do is scan those who already buy vitamins, who want to know if they are working, we will create a multi-billion dollar company. We don’t have to convince them to swallow vitamins, they already believe. Pharmanex has the potential to create its own multi-billion dollar business and the best part is they have the worldwide patented rights for the next 14 years.

What would be the value of Pfizer and Merck’s $20 billion Statin (cholesterol) drug business if no one could measure cholesterol? The answer is zero! Without the ability to give a personal cholesterol score, this market would not exist.

Nutrition products are natural and preventative measures for heart disease, cancer and aging. Pharmaceuticals are unnatural manufactured drugs that are harmful on the liver. The trend today is towards organic and healthy. This scanner device has been developed at the perfect time!

Finally, after 3 years, $80 million and 3 million scans, Pharmanex is ready to take the Scanner to the world. The 2nd generation of the scanner, called the S2, is already being deployed. The S2 is smaller, faster, less expensive and can operate in a wider temperature range. It is more portable and it goes anywhere, anytime. Pharmanex is a division of Nu Skin which has been around for over 20 years, has a $1.34 market cap and trades on the New York Stock Exchange.

The profits on this thing are going to be huge. The scanner won the Stevies Award despite stiff competion from companies like UPS and Oracle. New York Post calls this award "The business world's own Oscar Awards." http://download.oneteamglobal.com/us...tevieAward.pdf

    And then?

That is nice and all that you can messure vits in a person.

What do you want? If you have a multi billion dollar biz and are the next Merk or Phiz then why are you not talking to a VC or simply cashing in without a VC....why are you wanting to get from the forum post without a question or advice?

    not exactly

I guess there was a little misunderstanding, I am not the one that invented the scanner. I only work as a rep for the company, Pharmanex, who did. Believe me if I created and developed this technology I would be talking to some venture capitalists. I just think that this new technology has great potential and that it is revolutionary so I would share it on the forum.

My point about Merck and Pfizer was not to say I am on the same level but to merely point out that without the ability to measure ones cholesterol they would not have the multi billion dollar industry they do today.

Sorry, I welcome comments, questions and discussion, but do not appreciate the slander -

Hi hard at work, I used to be head of marketing for a global marketing company that specialises in Pharma and Biotech.

I have many contacts (including VPs in GSK, Pfizer, et al). Could you send me more information on what it is that you are trying to achieve?

If you are not on the board of the technology originators, how can we deal with you and benefit? Are your activities known and vetted by your employers?

I don't want to waste your time nor mine. I am interested in finding out what it is you are trying to achieve. If its developing channel for the products, then I have potential ready markets in Europe and the Far East. If you are trying to license it to large players, I have the contacts to help you along the way.

If you are trying to start a company that is based around the use of this technology, or distribution of the same; I will need to see waht your plans are.

    Regards

    Sam
