    How to implement my Idea?

Im 16 just to state it. The other day my friend called and I helped his uncle by walking him through the steps of fixing his computer (all he had to do was change the resolution). The next day my friend says his grandma would like to employ me for a day at a flat rate of $50 to install a hard drive, xfer the files, and then remove spyware/tweak. I did this and his grandma was very happy with my work because I went the extra mile and found some files for her and organized her desktop. She then Lets me know that she referred her friend to me for spyware removal. Also I got a call from my friends uncle who also wanted my help for pay.

-now its obvious that this business is snowballing here real quick and Im just wondering whether you guys think I should capitalize on this or not and how to o it considering im only 16 and have almost no economic resources.... thanks in advance

If it's working for you - which it sounds like it is - I would go for it. Use this venture to help you get experience, but always keep an open mind to other ventures.

yep, robert's right, you might turn into a michael dell kind of story

these startup things aren't linear....there is no way to predict where it'll take you, except its a safe bet that'll take you forward.

if you do nothing - you'd be going backwards

....if you want to talk about opportunity selection, we can do that too....or i can put you in touch with my friend (he's 23), who's doing the same thing as you and making more money than he can spend (fixing people's computers).

...it was the same for him...he just kind of walked into this job - he's biochemical scientist by training.

I would get 250 business cards from vistaprint.com and hand them out to family, friends, customers, and anyone you can. Definately keep going with the business and take this opportunity or you will most likely regret it.

thanks guys.... yeah I plan to advertise it this summer... mostly by laying flyers at people's front doors (Is that ok?) . .. and I know theres plenty of market for this type of businees because everytime I goto a friends house they complain about slowness of their computers and I can see the pop ups coming from the adware they have. I never help any of them because im too lazy to, but I know I could make their comps work twice as fast.

    - I was thinking I would concentrate mostly by saying if your computers running really slowly call me ... but then I would also mention that I install computer parts in the ad.

-The reason I want ot concentrate on spyware/adware removal is because I seemed to get the biggest customer appreciation / market for it.
