-Get a logo. It establishes a brand more than a run-of-the-mill font stating your name and when you were established. Also, most people arent going to care when you were established enough to want it right at the top of your page.
-Lose every .gif on that page unless you are selling to someone in 1995. There are about 10-13 of them on your page, and about zero to one on good pages. And if you are dying to keep one of them on your page, make sure it isnt this one...because nobody in 2 years will even know what the hell it is:Here
    -Lose the blue background image.
    -Drop the visit counter.
    -Drop the Guest book.
-Proofread your writing...I found 3 errors in less than two lines. Not something good to have when you are fixing peoples computers and consulting. In fact it made me stop reading out of frustration.
-What the heck is that ADLANDPRO table on your site? I read it five times and got nothing out of it other than it takes up a huge chunk of space.
-Drop the cafepress ads, they are annoying, and you actually called them "Press Cafe" on your site. Go with something that fits into a webdesign better like adsense, adbrite, or adengage.
-Don't link to a hundred different sites that arent linking to you and have nothing to do with your services.
-Most of your site is "aligned left" then it suddenly switched to "centered" then a few lines it goes back to left, then back to centered.
-The paypal verified badge should go somewhere near what you are selling...whatever that is, and should not be as huge as it is.
-Drop the netscape and IE plugs. Does anyone seriously use netscape still?
-Not every Other or every Other Other word should Be Capitalized.

-"(Click on the Box with the Red "X" and See For Yourself)"...There is no box with a red X...and if there was I wouldnt click it because red X's in the computer world mean "broken link" or "no image"

-"NOTE: THE TELEPHONE NUMBER & FAX NUMBER ON THIS BUSINESS CARD IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE.

WHEN I GET A NEW NUMBER, IT WILL BE PUBLISHED ON THIS SITE."

-Good to know...why have it up then? Nobody wants to read a business card and then say "oh, um, ok I guess that was pointless." DROP THE CAPS TOO! YOU ARENT SCREAMING AT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOU? Hopefully your email address works.

"(Note: Your Shopping is safe and Secured at the above Link. Just look for the Security Lock to the Site)"
-You mention this 5 or 6 times on different links. Most people shopping online already know what to look for and dont need text larger than the link to let them know. And if they dont know what to look for they arent going to knwo where to look for a tiny lock once they get to the site anyways.

-Also, you are going to confuse anyone that visits that site to what it is that you are actually providing. There are endless links and ads to stuff that really doesnt pertain to what you do. Am I getting my site blasted to 25000000 people? Am I signing up for ADLANDPRO? Am I actually shopping for something? Do I need to sell/buy stuff on eBay? Should I promote my site with these SEO's? Am I viewing this site in the right browser (btw it looks the same in firefox which is what you should be recommending).

-My overall recommendation is to pay someone a few hundred dollars to redesign your entire site. I hate to sound like I am bashing your site but I honestly would not buy anything from a site like that. I was trying to be as constructive as possible. Microfit's been around for 5 years so I assume you'll have a few bucks set aside to make a better site.

    Thank You

Thank You for your E-Mail. You really set me straight about my website and you we're not bashing it. I took it to heart and I will immediately implement many of the thing you outlined in your E-mail.

I know that if I make these changes, I will make my website more presentable and attract more visitors and not turn people away.

One, thing that maybe you can help me with....With regards to my background which is currently blue....What color would you recoomend to me?

I would really appreciate your opinion, since you we're kind enough to point it out to me.

    Thanks

    Ray

Ray, I'm glad you took the stuff to heart. As for the background color...it's not some much the blue that gets me, its the pattern that it has. A solid color with a softer blue might go over better.
