Plus you can put whatever you want in the signatures of all the emails sent), projectcamaro.com/gallery(allows members to make different galleries, upload their own pictures, rate them, leave comments, and hotlink from them), plus the profiles aren't like a normal forum's. They are build like MySpace so member's can upload video's, leave comments for each other, request people to be friends, etc... Basicly it adds everything an automotive website would but then goes above and beyond to make it stand above the crowd.

Remeber, these numbers are only getting larger all the time as well.
Total cost to host including all the different servers is less than $50 a month. I do have sponsers but I never tried to make money off it to be quite honest. You could very easily make a profit off it from advertisers or if you'd like you can use it to start selling products since it already has a large member base and the name is known. The forum would be larger but I started off with a phpBB forum and lost all the threads when we moved to the VB software so we lost around 100,000 posts or so and had to start all over.
TShirts were made last year and sent out as well as website decals and calenders to help get the name out.

As the owner of the site I have recived tons of free products from companies. These include aftermarket hoods, nitrous parts, wide fender's etc... Just another one of the bonus' of owning your own popular website. Did I mention it was mentioned in Camaro World magazine more than once?

Now how can you make money off the site?
I pay $35 to host the forum server and I believe around $10 for the other servers. I found it to be cheaper this way plus it helps me host video's and such that I allow users to download. So you see hosting is very cheap.
Paying advertisers. I used Google Ad Words with success but I didn't care for the look of them so I took them down. I know only put banners up manually. I currently charge very cheap rates. To put a banner on the right of the forum it's $20 a month, to put it on top of the forum it's $40 a month, to put it on the main site it's $60 a month and to put something into the user's free emails it's $100 a month. What this does is put a link or a small advertiser's logo/slogan in the signature of all the user's outgoing emails. Like any of the free email servers do. So instantly there's a nice profit to made will little to no effort but I was talking to other online site owners and they suggest that I sell products and drop ship them since the memberbase and userbase is already there. I would but it's just not worth the effort to me. I started this website as just a personal site and it's just exploiding and I want to let someone have it that'll really be able to take it where it can and deserves to be.
I am willing to help run the forum and maintain the members there even after the sale. I will help create the annual calenders, tshirts, and put up banners at the car show's I've hosted over the years and will continue to do. No matter what I will stay an active member as I really enjoy the member's there.
I know I typed quite a bit here but I was told to put my for sale here on Young Entrepreneur because the member's here really know what they're doing and would know a good deal when they see it.
