Smile eBay websites for sale - has anyone tried them?

    Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting here though I've been reading the forums for some time now. Anyway, I often look through the websites for sale on eBay out of curiosity and see quite a variety of already built websites ready to start selling as soon as you buy them. Now many of them I've noticed do not have the best domain names, but I've come across a few that have had pretty decent names and have a overall good looking site. Many are setup already with dropshippers and/or affiliates. My question is, has anyone tried buying one before and if so, had any success? I imagine that it's the same as any business in that it takes work and time to build, but wondering if anyone has actually tried it and what their feelings were.

    Thanks

    Yes and mine bombed

    Mark,

I bought three of those turn-key websites. One from Ebay. It looked beautiful but I never really got any subscribers. I bought traffic, did some small time advertising here and there but never broke even. I know there are success stories out there but I think they are the exception to the rule. I've had a lot of success with programs like Treasure Trooper(http://www.treasuretrooper.com/270448) You do product trials and surveys but with a little leg work you can get affiliates and get paid for doing nothing (the goal of a website). After playing around with lots of online options this one worked for me. I would also recommend Cash Crate (http://www.cashcrate.com/index.php?ref=237083). If you have questions about how these programs work and which ones to avoid etc check out my blog (http://workonlineprograms.blogspot.com/). Best of luck to you...

I haven't had taht great of an experience with treasure trooper but ill attest to cash crate being legit and great. The best part iis the fact that you pay no startup fees or need a credit card. I've been doing this for a while and making a pretty generous income. However at first your earnings are small and miniscule but dont get down because we all were before we learned the tricks of the trade.PM me if your interested I can help you out.
