    Costa Rica investment opportunity

    Presale event! Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Save 40-75% over current market prices!
How can we do this? Our project is under pioneer stages.

As you probably know, Costa Rica real estate market is booming while here in the US is declining. Costa Rica and becoming a "California type Real Estate jewel."

Why Costa Rica? in a nut shell: a proven democracy, no political problems (compare to the rest of America) well supported by the US. Since there is no army, all revenues goes toward universalized health care program and toward education (98% literacy). Companies such as Intel, Western Union, Hewlett Packard among others choose Costa Rica as their headquarters.
Eco Paradise Group is developing 200 acres in the prestigious area of Brasilito, Conchal and Flamingo (where Liz Taylor, Linda Carter- among a others own homes). We have all pertaining permits, own the property and have connections with the local and Costa Rican Government. Yet we are at "pioneer stages". We are not only looking for individuals investors, but a financial partner to take our vision to a different level.

If intrested, feel free to look at our info site @ www.EcologicalRealEstate.com or give as a call.

I would not want to retire in a 3rd world country. The Latin American countries are unstable, Your better off investing in like hotels on the coastal regions of Mexico or another country. Real Estate.. Not so much in South America.

Costa Rica is not a third world country; they have the oldest democracy in the Americas. They are more stable then the US or Canada. Rated in the top 10 nations in the world safest to invest. (US is eighth)

You can retire, live in a 2-bedroom home, and pay all utilities, with housekeeper/cook for less then $600.00 a month. Hospitals and medical costs are cheaper, and fare better then the US or Canada in most cases.

Real estate in Costa Rica is going up every day; it has tripled in the past three years. Disneyland Costa Rica construction will be started latter this year, more then 2 million people visit Costa Rica each year.

    Mexico, are you for real?

You stand a better chance at winning the lottery then making any money in Mexico, even if you never buy a ticket.

Its true, most latin american countries economies are doing alot better then even the united states economy in comparison. Look at the US markets and industries such as real estate!

Look at countries like dominican republic that have a gdp of 6.5% where as the united states has 3.4% and mexico has 4.5%.

Mind you im not going to sit here and try to argue the dominican economy is stronger then the united states economy, and it may sound like im contradictign myself, but what im trying to do is prove the point that latin american countries(in most cases) are starting to boom and are going to continue to do so.

and jus for the record costa rica sees %4.7 gdp and all those numbers are 2006 numbers

I would also suggest taking a trip down to some of these countries(or even just one of them) They may be poor countries in comparison to a place like Canada or the United States, but they live a happier life down their. They are in my experiences less stressed people and have a much different demeanor due to their lifestyles. I think its a matter of appreciating things more then a richer coutnries people would.

Why is thier so much poverty int eh united states?

their is just as much poverty in the united states as costa rica, their is just LESS wealthy people in costa rica to cover it up! Things arent always what they seem ont he outside. the USA is alot more developed then costa rica, so when looing at it you think wow people int he united states are rich and in costa rica poor! Costa rica doesnt have the money to wear a mask like the unites states

You ask a good question, so I will answer it. Poverty in Costa Rica is not as prevalent as you may think. The US has government housing, welfare, HUD, and many charities that give to the poor here. Costa Rica does not, in fact the rate of poor verses any other developed country is around the same. Costa Rica has one major flaw, it controls wages, and most workers make the low as they work in jobs that do not require a second language. ($2.00 hr) those with need of a second language like tourism, make $3.00hr. Skilled labors such as carpenters make around $5.00 if they are lucky, even doctors make only around $20-30,000USD a year.

What has caused Poverty in Costa Rica, is that the wage scale is set to low, housing has tripled in the past two years in almost all areas. Housing is nearing the prices of housing in the US, due to Americans and Canadians buy homes there. It is slowly turning into a rich-mans playground. Also large resorts that are all inclusive, meaning that the guest need not travel outside of the resort to buy goods. This causes the mom & pop shops to suffer, causing a ripple effect stalling the economy.

Costa Rica is by far a better more stable economy then you think as it is considered a member of The Caribbean Economic Development Community. Do not prejudge until you have seen for yourself, I have been to 26 countries, and Costa Rica is by far the best of the best.

Some people in this thread need to wake up....

Costa Rica has been a hot topic in real estate for a while now. Even some of the "House Hunter" shows on HGTV and other channels have highlighted Costa Rican real estate.

The whole country is not a paradise, but there are selective communities on islands and along the coast that put parts of Hawaii to shame.

I'm also starting to get wind of a lot of investment in Panama... Though that country doesn't have the track record of CR, foreign land investment in general is becoming a lot more popular as the US Federal Reserve does more and more to devalue to dollar.

Having some kind of international section in your investment portfolio, either stocks or land holdings, is very necessary as the US market has matured in a lot of ways and doesn't hold the growth potential or the traditional stability that it has in decades past.

I agree, however Costa Rica is one country that unless you do your research and know the in's and out's you will lose. I know Costa Rica, for I do a lot of business there, and own four businesses. If you think you can buy property on-line without having an attorney in Costa Rica, you are wrong!

    Give me more details

I have been developing land(s) in Florida for 5 years. My job was to locate the land, negotiate the deal, design the site plan the community and develop a preliminary marketing plan for the project. Then go through the governemntal bull shit to get it approved and then oversee the companies putting in the infastructure. I am interetsed in your idea because I am moving to Guanacaste near Tamarindo in about 90 days and looking for an opportunity. I have many U.S investors that typically invest in land deals looking for things to invest in over there. That is why I am going over there, I am like a scout, they send me to new places to network and get to know the politics and customs, sniff out the opportunities and then act as a liason for their interests. Tell me more about your project, I am intrigued..

There's poverty in the US, because people are unable to participate in a truly FREE MARKET! The US is full of, over regulation, and government taxation. If it were truly a free market, then I'd be able to get in my car, and essentially become my own taxi. I cannot do that, in the US, the government has set up zoning rules, the government has allowed only a few companies to monopolize, and you'll see what I'm talking about in the tobacco industry. Has the high tax helped smoker's? Has it helped the government? Yes. Has it killed small business owners? Yes. So, maybe it was to big businesses advantage? Now they have a monopoly. It's a free market, IF you can buy out the government, and that's the problem. I'm a Libertarian.

Why don't you all just leave this beautiful country alone.

The habitants are a lot richer than the US in many ways.

The poverty is no worse. There are many millions more living under the poverty line in the US than there are in Costa Rica.

BTW I believe property in Costa Rica is a sound investment, I just wouldn't like to see their lives contaminated with your/our US ideology.
