College business ideas...

Alright here's the scoop...

I'm looking to startup another business that would be easy to run while in school (college) and allow me make enough to pay my own way thru college, have a good amount of spending money, and if possible, be setup in a manner that the business could be spread across people so that it would be basically a breeze to run for anyone with some drive, but yet allows other college students to realize the pros of running their own business. Now I know that this might be difficult, but yet might not be. I have a few ideas, but I wanted some help brainstorming ideas. I think somethine internet based would work best, but any idea is a good idea! Thanks!

I was looking for the same thing. An internet based business that would pay bills while I'm in school so I don't have to get a part time job and I can focus on school.

I found it. And it seems like it will be able to pay much more than just my bills as it continues to grow.

Internet Marketing. It's a beuatiful thing. lol

The potential income is endless, there are thousands of people make a good living with internet marketing. (by good living I mean over 100k)

I agree with the IDEA man, i think what idea man is talking about is information products online, b/c since your in college and have little money (i assume) you can sell information like audio files, ebooks, etc and keep lik 97% of the profits (3% credit card) and you have access to millions and millions of eager customers.

Find a niche you already have interest in (like you hobby) and market to that niche!

Could either of you two give me some additional info/help with this type of business? Currently I own a lawn care/landscape maintenance company, snow removal business and commerical cleaning business, but I'd love to move onto something internet based while in college since I work my butt off every weekend year-round pretty much. I make okay money, but if I could do something that would work better with my college schedule and make more, I'd probably sell off the existing businesses and invest the money from them since im sure internet based operations aren't too expensive...but I may be wrong. What kind of figures are you making...if you don't mind sharing? Feel free to reply or private message me...I'm looking to make a move soon. Thanks!

I believe in the ebay auction or the dollar store concept, it is like any other business without the overhead and inventory. It is a lot of fun and takes much less time to generate revenue. What I like about it best is that the concept if you have a good selling product, you have an unlimited supply, and you understand basic marketing, you can do it. You get the site, the inventory, and the support.

I don't know if you have settled in on a business to start while you are in college but have you considered starting a lawn care business.

I recommend a site I came across recently to people in college looking for a flexible means of making money.

Actually mowing lawns and running a lawn care business is a lucrative way to make fast money.

Anyway, you be the judge.

The problem I'm finding with college and a business is time. I still can't manage my time well. I've been spending more time online and on my business then school. If you are able to find a right balance without sacrificing grades too much then that is great. I'm currently working with a mlm company and plan to go big soon. I know of a way to easily make around $200 if you are able to make a personal webpage through your school site.

hm maybe try selling a book about how to get rich to your college students (not friends) if there all eager to make money, they will probs buy it (at the right price) and this will allow you to do alot of research, learn things and make money (you benifit in all) and they will be getting a small book.

Why not try forex? Takes me 20 minutes a week to take care of my portfolio, the rest of the time I'm in school or out having fun. My whole family uses the same software and it's doing great, simple to use, even a blonde college student can figure it out (that being me!).
