    Catalog product...how do I market?

I have this great product that would sell well (of course, I think it would) in catalogs in the genre such as Spencers gifts. Does anyone have any idea how I would market such an item, how would I get in touch with such catalogs?
    Thanks in adavance,

Just simply contact the catalogs you would be interested in, I'd say they'd pretty much do all the work for you, but take a % of all sales.

Perhaps also setup a website which you can then also advertise your website url in the product catalogue (i.e. within the product description). That way you could also sell or introduce other products on your site, and attempt to get any visitors to that site on your mailing list which you can then use to send out specials and promotions etc.

Voila! ...hopefully it's that easy to do

Start by simply contacting the catalogs and see if they're interested in selling your product.

Or you can try eBay..Ebay really has a lot of customers. If you want I can help you with that. I have excellent feedback and that helps sell easily. I did this for my friend selling his computer related items and I took a slight cut out of it while he drop shipped the items.
    Let me know...Tom

    re ebay

    Hi Tom,
I am an Ebay seller, I've been doing it for many years now. but this particular item was really not selling very well. It's a little on the off color side (not extremely offensive, but I think some folks would find it a little offensive) and I didn't want to jepordize the other items I was selling by potentially offending someone. Know what I mean?? By the way, if your looking for a chocolate fountain check out seller swimmingfish5 on ebay. Thanks so much for taking the time to write! Have a great day! Mary
