    Bulk buys...

I'm contemplating over a product to sell... But I'd like to get some ideas of where I can buy in bulk. I dont need dropshippers, they haven't worked for me in the past. I'm looking for places online which I can buy products in bulk, but not crazy wal-mart type bulk! lol

Any ideas? Any products, dont care yet at this point, just scouting.

You first have to determine the products that you see the demand in the market you target. no point buying something where there is no demand in your target market.

And you also need to do a market survey of the average selling price in your target market, then you will have an idea of the highest cost price that you can accept.

This will also help you to make decision on what products to buy bulk and sell. If there is a product where you see the demand, but you have to buy like 500-1000 pcs at least to get a competitive price to sell in your target market with a 10% profit, whereby this is out of your criteria.

So, it really takes a lot of business planning. Start from customer segmentation and choose your target market, this will help you to focus on the products you can sell.

You won't be getting 10% on flash memory if you only buy 1000! Even my partner in HK can't source them and import them to DE/FR/UK with 10%.

Dell I believe reached an ave 6% PTP in their last qtr.

I can supply cheap SD/MMC/mini-SD. PM me for quote. Credit available if references avail.

www.surplus.net You can find anything from truck-loads and down.

If your thinking about selling on E-bay than you can search through the completed auctions section to see how much similar items have gone for.

www.gowholesale.com is a good place to start.

Before you go for the Lacoste polo shirts, I will remind you of TurboCivic, (a member here) who was supposedly sued by Lacoste and hasnt been heard of since... lol. Do a search and you will find the thread.

I really like the look of this site also. www.wholesalediscs.com - its looks pretty hot!

    a word of warning

www.wholesalediscs.com and other similar sites/companies are mostly scam.. they give you movies no one will ever watch and movies you never heard of.
i would not recommend them but if anyone had good results with them feel free to let me know.
