    breakupbears.net

Website that sells cute teddy bears with various "break-up" messages on them. I've looked for something similar but to no avail. I already have the manufacturer set-up. What do you think? Anyone willing to help out? Let me know.

sounds like a great idea... but what kind of messages? like break-up's getting back together or harsh words to one-another or is it to feel better?

Harsh messages in general, printed on cute cuddle bears.

"The h**d was great, stop calling me"
"Sorry but your sister is better"

    Etc...

some people have told me I'm a bit of bastard, but even I wouldn't exactly feel comfortable with sending a "present" like this...I feel that giving something like this really would take too much nerve...and it burns bridges

ultimately, with breaking up, I'd shoot for a product that plays to the dumpers vanity, rather than making the dumper appear like an asshole. I'd feel more comfortable with a send-away teddy featuring a standardized poem/message of "it was good while it lasted", rather than something more confrontational...plus, this approach doesn't completely sever the relationship, which is really important too, because most breakups tend to get back together

I'm not sure there is a market for making girls feel like losers....although there might be a market for vendetta style products. getting cheated on is a tremendously devastating experience and a need to get back at the other person is extremely pervasive for anyone who goes through these things regularly (i.e. moi)

I knew someone would bring up that point akula. However, I saw an episode on TV a while ago. This lady would ship dog poo to people. You could go online, order a bag of poo, and have it mailed to someone... If there's a market for that then there's gotta be a market for this, marketing is key. People just have to know the product exists.

    well....I dunno about that...

in my experience, women tend to have much more common sense than men

in a wider sense, it's the men who are stupid

if we had more women in leadership positions, the world wouldn't be in a perpetual state of famine, war and corruption

ohnoes. I'll have to dissagree with you on this one. Women act on emotion and not common sense. Have you ever worked in an office full of women? I've worked in a office setting with mostly women for the past 3 years. The air is constantly filled with bickering, bitching, and general whining. Women are devious, scheming, backstabbing, paranoid beings. They rarely act on anything logical.

You can't say ALL woman act on emotion, it sounds to me that the office you work in is not run properly if they allow all this to go on between the woman and in my experience men can be just as bitchy if not worse

I'm talking in general terms. There's always exceptions. Well I've been in 3 separate offices. They're all the same.

I am not saying it doesn't go on, I had 80 people working in my office of which 85% where men, backstabbing and bitchiness was not tolerated unless it earned me money, which of course it didn't so I always gave them a choice of working somewhere else.

Way to go. I agree with your ways. However, working for a huge company full of BS rules and regulations, it's hard to even fire people these days...

Starting to change here too, the way we managed to do this was by making everybody self- employed.

I'd really like to find a partner on this. I need someone to get the site designed. I am paying for all the set-up fees and whatnot. I don't want to pay 1k for a nice site so I am looking for someone to set it up. What can you offer?
