Blog Promotion: Make $50 For Your Comment!

I currently just started a blog...never knew what one was until a week or so ago but I am promoting it by having bi weekly contests. I will be posting a comment, question or task..it may be something ridiculous or stupid but that makes it that much more interesting and who ever has the most entertaining comment at the end of 2 weeks gets the $50 bucks....thats it..you dont have buy anything...this is just to promote my blog and I would spend this much if not more in advertising anyway so why not give everyone a chance to make some money! If this goes well I may increase the amount of cash given as well as maybe make it weekly. PM me if you want to check it out as I will be posting the first question or task at 9:00pm AST.

Well this promotion seems to be working out pretty well so far. I have gotten about 16 comments and an offer to do a write up on my company and this venture.

I have decided to run this promotion for at least 1 year having a new task every 2 weeks for now and it may increase to every week and I may even raise the amount as things get going. All future tasks will consist of making a comment to my question and clicking on no more than 3 advertisers links to qualify and 30 seconds of your time is not much to ask for a chance to make $50 every 2 weeks and the task will always be something simple like posting a link to a vid or something.

I know some of you are probably thinking how or why I am doing this well...think of the exposure to my site and the exposure any advertiser will receive and then consider my cost. $50 every 2 weeks is only costing me $100 a month for guaranteed visits to my advertisers sites. I couldnt get this kind of quality exposure for my advertisers for $500 or even a $1000 a month!

Your not guaranteed you need to win but this promotion idea gave us some other ideas and we seeing if we can come up wuth some type of system where we people could join and view these ads and get paid for each one viewed.

You would do better spending $50 month on advertising. Get some unique content and text links pointing back to your site and your traffic will grow.

No, i dont thik so, cause that is the CONCEPT of the blog, if he do not spend that in cntest so he have no content for the blog.

I agree, that is why we have changed things around a bit. Dont worry I am still giving the $50 for the funniest video and will do so sometime this week once we have everything setup.

As I had mentioned somewhere before I did not know too much about blogs up until a week ago and after doing some research I now understand them a little better.

So heres the new plan that will help any blog get more exposure!

I am adding a Blog Topsite to our pixel site. Each month there will be a top blog of the month that will recieve the following:

Since we beleive there is alot of potential with blogs we are also in the process of launchiing a new PPC blog search engine as well as a new social networking site geared mostly towards bloggers and blogging resources. All these sites will be networked and cross promoted to create a steady flow of traffic to our pixel site while at the same time helping bloggers gain enough traffic and popularity to begin to make or increase income made from their blogs.

Friday we are beginning our cross Canada tour to promote the million dollar deck website. We have hired someone to drive from New Brunswick to Niagara Falls Toronto in a van with our website logo, domain and stickers as well as passing out promotional items and posting flyers along the way. The next leg of the tour is scheduled for September. Im not kidding when I said this pixel site will receive more REAL unique visitors than anyother pixel site online.
