Anyone working in Foreign Language or Foreign Countries?

Since I'm a businessman that happens to love languages I foresee a huge opportunity for adventurous entrepreneurs to grow businesses with businesses using foreign languages or working in foreign markets.

A lot of entrepreneurs are simply taking existing businesses and replicating them in other countries. Like one Vietnamese entrepreneur who was raised in the states took the Starbucks concept back to Vietnam and is very successful.

What do you guys think. Would you actually move to another country to create a business?

Yeah, there's dozens of concepts that could be used in other countries.

Personally, the only thing holding me back in China is the corruption. Foreign person makes money, boom, the police, government goons, local politicians, are on your back demanding a cut or they'll find an excuse to shut you down.

I just don't have the connections here to prevent that. It's too bad, because I've had some good ideas!

    Hi,

I'm an American living in Brasil and I'm trying to get some businesses going. Things are behind here so you can kind of forecast opportunities based on what's already happening in the U.S. Let's talk shop.

I would. Interestingly enough. Even though I am a fairly young entrepreneur (Just turned 19) I am in talks with a person who is moving to Amsterdam for a restaurant venture. Also with a magazine in the works that will lend itself to foreign markets and exposure. I am very interested in foreign markets and the opportunities there. That's one of the main reasons I am studying International Business right now
