Anyone tried "adult toys" market?

Just wondering if anyone has tried dropshipping in the adult toys market?

It seems pretty viable, but getting traffic seems like an issue, not many "high street" websites to advertise on.

You will also find it difficult to get a Merchant Account provider...as some have restrictions about the type of products you sell. I have seen this issue impact some of our members as well when they used these suppliers.

There are TONS of adult toy sites online. Find a way to be within the top 100 of them and I think it's a pretty good opportunity. Just being a site that sell the stuff isn't going to make you money tho.

Errr......isn't that what 99.9% of shops do? Sell stuff?

i think ssm noted the importance of having a marketing budget and using that budget to achieve marketing objectives (i.e. to be within the top 100)

Yes.

Deejay - I can go setup a website right now that sells million dollar diamonds marked up 20000%. If all I am is a site that can sell them but devotes nothing to actually getting them sold, I probably won't make money.

I have an adult store www.thekinkypleasurechest.com well it's not really MINE but the domain is mine haha, I make 30% comission off of toys and 20% off of dvd's, if any of you guys are interested in getting your own adult toy store, just click on my site and click on the Make Money button there on the left hand side, and you can be set up with your own adult toy store, you can make some good money, you just got to advertise it the right way, I've made some cash, but nothing serious, anyways, if you guys are interested you should check it out, sex sales! :P

I have a few clients in that biz. Going by the amount of band with they use. It seems that are doing well. Could be pretty costly to start out. I would recommend a turnkey solution to start.
