    Expensive Electronics

How can we ensure expensive electronics are legit? They probably wont send a 500$ unit for free as a sample.

And if they do.... im getting allllot of samples.

Why not give them a chance for great electronic items straight from China at discount prices?

Why are your discount prices significantly higher than retail prices (yes i did the AUD/USD conversion)

i have been to china many many times..and the reason why i go directly to china is that i can meet face to face with the suppliers and we both know what are the needed requirements and thus we both reached a good agreement,

if ur thinking of getting some stuffs over the internet and by emails, then i dun advise to do that unless ur ordering a small quantity,

for those who plan to get something from china and sell it overseas,my best piece of advise is to go to china personally and have a 1st hand look at what they have to offer.

All it takes is a plane ticket and a little maturity (and trusting parents if your well under 18).

A Month?! Maybe consider the phone instead of email/chat? That could speed things up.

If its anything name-brand then be very very careful.

Yea, I do agree with Ammar. You can actually search for an agent or consultant to help you but it is quite costly.
I have yet to be a billionaire but will be very soon.

the agent fees range between 10% to 20% of ur total order,

very very important u need to get an agent who is trusted and not charge u so much especially with the product prices as they can negotitate a price hike-up with the supplier.

if ur going to china for the 1st time, go there and have a look first, enquire the prices and products,

besides going to china is really cheap these days, hotel food and airline ticket is not very expensive..

4000 USD? 32,000 yuan?! That's 1000 yuan a day, where are you sleeping and eating? The Ritz? Beluga caviar and Dom Perignon!

You can easily spend half that. Hotels are cheap, maybe 200 yuan a night but they WILL discount substantially if you're staying a while. Food is incredibly cheap.

My recommendation is that you stay maybe 2-3 weeks, and budget some money towards entertainment, which I think will be the biggest expense. You will have to take people out for dinners, karaoke, and provide a lot of alcohol. It adds up, even in China.

I agree...just finding someone on alibaba.com is tough.

Its a great online tool for reference, but when it comes down to it, you can only guarantee your success by going in person and developing your own strategy.

If you want to see a huge range of products you should consider going to the Canton Fair in April.

alibaba.com is for larger distributors and businesses. I would not recommend doing this unless you have more than $100K USD to spend on products. Otherwise you can find a middle man, someone already ordering goods who will sell them to you at less than wholesale because you can help them get a little better deal.
It's not easy - life - is not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it.

Yes you can find someone on alibaba , just be careful , a lot of people get ripped off!

Only do business with the gold members on there.
