Hey guys, I found this site that has what seems to be a good business idea for domain names.

The company is Global Domains International

This is not worth it, you will just waste your money.

What took you so long to find it, it's been around for years. It's another case of a well disguised Ponzi scheme and a very popular one at that.

They start off telling you they are the sole source of .ws domain names, which is pure crap. You can register with GoDaddy for $8.95 a year. Then you can get your own hosting with a real Cpanel backend and more features and horsepower for about $1 a month if you get a few friends together and buy a reseller account to share.

That means your monthly investment for a better product is $1.75 a month and the rest is shared with the other suckers who are paying $10 to participate in the Ponzi.

That wouldn't be so bad, except most people don't have a clue what to do with their site so it just sits there costing them $10 a month. They can't get anyone under them, so in a few months they quit. As the ones on the bottom start dropping off, their sponsors see their monthly income going south and pull the plug too, which ripples up faster than it took to build it.

You may wonder where the company makes their money if they pay out a dollar for each of the ones in all those levels? It's because most of the slots never get filled and stay filled, so all the vacant slots get paid to the company owners.
