    Acquisition

As many people here probably know, I run an online scrapbook retail store and design studio. A website that is a directory for the arts and crafts industry has gone up for sale. According to the data, it brings in approximately $500/month from various advertising revenue streams.

I am thinking about acquiring this website for two purposes:
    1. To continue generating the advertising revenue
    2. To advertise my main scrapbooking business to this highly targeted audience and reach more users

The site is very well automated with RSS and everything is pretty much in place. If anyone has a chance to take a look, is there anything else you can think of which can improve this website? Any other ideas I could use to help promote my main retail business on this website? Ideally, I want to change the current website as little as possible. IMO it is cluttered with too many ads and looks like spam, but I really don't want to mess with the content unless I think it will really help, because I don't want to mess anything up. I also will be replacing the store with my own store.

The website for sale is www.craftdirectory.org
and the link to the sale page is:
    http://www.craftdirectory.org/forsale

    Any feedback is appreciated.

You got an 's' in there that shouldn't be there. The site looks good!

    Here's the correct URL www.craftdirectory.org

not that much traffic... 980 000 in alexa. so if it's generating some cash already there should be quite a bit of room for improvement
