Account Reps Needed + Question...

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum, but very happy that I have stumbled upon it. To give you a bit of background on me: I am 20 years old and co-own a web development agency called Luxe Studios (www.luxestudios.com) in Canada.

Currently we are looking to expand our operations internationally with Account Representatives in the US. Being young entrepreneurs and having a limited cash flow, we have thought about the best way of accomplishing this. My business partner and I came to the conclusion that the only way we could employ Account Representatives is by offering 25% of any projects that they participate/bring in. We would also provide all start-up costs/materials such as business cards, print/digital portfolio, letterheads ect.

I would just like to know if any of you would be interested in this opportunity, and also your thoughts on the way we have chosen to handle this particular situation.

I have read some books on the subject of growing your biz, and they all say more or less "work ON your business not IN it"

I am trying to put together a team of people that would act as an extension of Luxe Studios in various locations. At this time other than offering a 25% commision fee, what other suggestions might you have for gathering a team?

I find it very time consuming to look after all the different aspects that my biz requires, that could be easily handled by someone else.

Once I have established a few reputable contacts, and there is a constant flow of work, other compensation terms could be worked out. It's just starting this, that poses the problem for me.
