Just my two cents...

I don't believe they are bad sites at all. I have seen MUCH worse! Like they have been programmed from Microsoft's, Notepad.

I would say that I have been to many effective websites where horizontal scroll is used; however, if you ditch the AdSense (Which no one really pays too much attention to anyway) it would dramatically decrease the size of your page as well as get rid of the distraction of the AdSense links. Let's say that there was something useful to an end-user that was posted in the AdSense and they leave your site almost immediately. Did you get that end-user to read your site and what you have to offer, probably not!

One thing about the color theme of your site(s)... When using color you have to use contrast. I noticed that the header of your "4 Reasons for Refinancing..." site that it's way too light for its background image - very hard to read. Placement of that header is also key. Be sure to place it where it's completely visible and not construed by any other content. Make a logo for your site rather than using plain text... It's much more appealing.

Other than that, I believe you are on the right track.

Hi Nano

Thanks for the encouragement and comment. I have totally changed my home loan website to a totally new design and content just to try the website design provided by my hosting provider.(just like to try out new things to see how things work out with different type of layout and content with sales).

As for LOGOs, I am trying to find where we can get FREE TEMPLATES on the web so that I can modify to fit my sites. Would appreciate if anyone on this forum could suggest any sites with FREE TEMPLATES for LOGOS.
