Here are 3 ways.

1) Model someone that is already successful. Someone that you see yourself like down the track.

2) Be different. Nobody likes a wet sap, that does want the next person does.

3) Use shock in your videos. This can bring in alot of traffic to your site and increase sales in the short and long term.

My first attempt at affiliate marketing hasn't been so successful, lol. i am new to this board, and could use some tips from any affiliates making a decent income.

The question I pose to you is "did you find out through experience or research?"

As entreprenuers here in this forum, we must see things in terms of cash flow. It's like watching Avatar looking for the political agenda. Same film, different meaning.

Like Facebook, it started off great, but as it got bigger and hired more people, they needed to make money somehow. And after venture capital, well they needed to figure out a way to be come a multi-million dollar company in less than 6 years? No wonder they've been selling privacy.... it's all perspective.

These PTC and PTV sites are all shams because splitting an advertisers banner into pennies a click... think about it. At $0.05 a click, you need to see 1000 ads to make $50.00 Talk about a waste of time. Plus, they make you visit other peoples sites which can be potentially dangerous with viruses etc...

I have wasted my time, and I have lost money through this false BS which is why I started simplyfreegas. If you really want free money, LOOK at the small print. PLEASE.

I think another great way to make money online is through being affiliates of Amazon, Clickbank or Commission Junction.

small money makers, take a bit of time to do also, especially the survery ones, but as someone mentioned dont under estimate the small money makers, multiple small money makers add up!

My gosh it's like link wars! Looks like you've joined a lot of affiliate programs and yes they all pay you but how much time have you spent on getting people to sign up and how much have you earned so far?

Those are good links for people looking to make some fast cash . Certainly not a lot of cash, but it all helps. I have made money over the years with surveys and more recently with affiliate programs. But as my business grew, I refined what I do and mostly work with adsense and affiliate programs now as a side.

Great post.

I guess there are three other elements that require you to knuckle down and realise the true path to making money online.

1) There are not quick push button ways to make money online.

2) YOu have to be addicted to helping people, and even giving them killer free advice before they will become a paying client.

3) Realize that there is not just 1 way to make money online. You can use affilate marketing, amazon, free classified sites, craigslist, article market and others, that really dont cost you a dime, do not get your heart and mind set in one way. Pick your own way, and make it work, once it does, scale it up and outsource and you will be able to quit your crappy 9-5 job.

I guess it just depends on what exactly you are looking for. I have done data entry and writing online and also do search engine evaluation for Leapforce. You can also get paid to blog or there are tons of work-from-home jobs available as well.
