Hey fellow entrepreneurs!!!

I am currently starting a new newspaper at my University.
It is business oriented, with world commerce news, interviews with ceos, managers, and business owners, job postings, tips on interviews and resumes. Overall to appeal to senior business university students that are about to graduate. The newspaper launch is on Sept. 30. We have planned some creative musicians, a CEO of a 'hot' company will conduct a seminar and a live interview after, catered food....that is about it. Are there any suggestions on what else can be added to the launch event, anything missing? Also any ideas on how to get the local city paper to do a story on us? We want this event to be talked about, not only by students, but by the entire business community in the city...

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Have you created a press release for the event? If so, fax it to the local newspaper and other local media outlets, or contact them directly.

Also, how will you be promoting the event on campus?
