Each of the speakers has achieved astounding professional success- all before the age of 30. Students are able to gain rare insights into the business world and obtain invaluable information on how to go about pursuing their own dreams.

While it's a city and nobody is immune to 'random/senseless violence', Washington, DC is a tourist city. You can pretty much stay in any hotels in the Upper NW Washington Corridor and walk freely about without worry. I have been a resident here since 2000 so I am familiar with most areas here.

Dupont Circle, Downtown-Midtown, Adams Morgan, U Street Corridor are the most walkable areas (and where you will find most of the hotels anyway). Georgetown is very nice but is not metro/subway accessible. If you come to DC during the summer you can usually find pretty decent deals at select Kimpton Hotels and the Embassy Suites at 22nd and M Sts, NW (anything you find around the neighborhoods of those hotels will be nice and convenient). Arlington, VA might also have slightly cheaper rates and is also very convenient to DC just a couple of miles outside of city center.

    good luck and safe travels.

    cheers.
