Extreme Success Summit For Young Entrepreneurs

Dear Young Entrepreneurs,

There's an event that's coming to Washington, D.C. on May 31st, 2008 called the "Extreme Success Summit" that many of you might find interesting:

The Extreme Success Summit is an opportunity for young, ambitious self-starters to garner the knowledge and expertise of entrepreneurs who have gone before them. This one-day conference introduces students to some of the nation’s most inspirational business professionals. Keynote speakers share their experiences and explore a broad range of topics, including working with corporate America, how to start a business, developing leadership abilities in a professional setting and more! Students will also participate in an interactive Q&A session with each speaker as well as engage in problem-based learning activities with other attendees.

Students participating in the Extreme Success Summit have the opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with some of today’s most respected and internationally-recognized entrepreneurs. Each of the speakers has achieved astounding professional success- all before the age of 30. Students are able to gain rare insights into the business world and obtain invaluable information on how to go about pursuing their own dreams.

Who will be speaking at the Summit?
The speakers for the May 2008 Summit are: best-selling author and entrepreneur, Jason Ryan Dorsey; well-known entrepreneur and current contestant on Oprah’s Big Give, Cameron Johnson; real estate investor and first female winner of The Apprentice, Kendra Todd; and Executive Director and Founder of TheCulturalConnect.com, Sumaya Kazi.

Who is eligible to participate in the Extreme Success Summit?
Attending students must be 16 - 24 years old and interested in learning about leadership and successful business practices from young entrepreneurs. Students should contact the Office of Admissions at 800-781-7174 for additional information.

When and where does the Summit take place?
The Extreme Success Summit will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. As this is a one-day Summit, space is limited. Priority seating will be available as part of our Premium Package; otherwise, seat assignments will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuition for the Summit is $297 and includes the program location, lunch, speakers, supervisory personnel and program materials.

While it's a city and nobody is immune to 'random/senseless violence', Washington, DC is a tourist city. You can pretty much stay in any hotels in the Upper NW Washington Corridor and walk freely about without worry. I have been a resident here since 2000 so I am familiar with most areas here.

Dupont Circle, Downtown-Midtown, Adams Morgan, U Street Corridor are the most walkable areas (and where you will find most of the hotels anyway). Georgetown is very nice but is not metro/subway accessible. If you come to DC during the summer you can usually find pretty decent deals at select Kimpton Hotels and the Embassy Suites at 22nd and M Sts, NW (anything you find around the neighborhoods of those hotels will be nice and convenient). Arlington, VA might also have slightly cheaper rates and is also very convenient to DC just a couple of miles outside of city center.

good luck and safe travels.

cheers.
