If i need to buy some franchise, i will buy a good salon franchise or some fashion clothing franchise, these are the ways where we can earn a lot after investing an average cost, i really like these both professions.
    I have just found it:

I agree. I am not a fan of franchises. I would never buy one. Like someone said create your own!

Like others have stated.. $2,000 isn't going to get you much. I suggest either save up more money (a lot more) or start your own venture.

I would NOT touch a brick and mortar franchise. With the new age of technology and the future of business and the growing commodity that is the internet. A whole new world of business has been opened up with a FAR less overhead and a much higher profit margin.

There are many turn key business models out there equivalent to that of a brick and mortar franchise, how ever based online leveraging systems and online advertising campaigns. A franchise that you can run from the comfort of your own home without any overhead costs such as employees or a building space. A business model that runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week and never sleeps.

It seems silly to me to invest $100 000 or more into a franchise that could take years to pay off or break even. There are much more profitable business models that don't cost a fraction of that.

It simply comes down to people being aware of this new movement in business. The evolution of business is slowly taking place and new buisness models and opportunities are coming up all the time.

Learning to leverage systems is the key to wealth. If we were compensated for the amount of hard work we had done, then i am sure you would see construction workers driving around in Luxury Vehicles. However that is not the case.

If you want to be wealthy you need to find a way to make money in your sleep

I would have to go with a McDonalds. I haven’t seen one go out of business yet and who doesn't love them!

Tanning Salon is an excellent idea..that industry is growing rapidly right now...but alot of it depends on your location(s), most of the successful ones I have ran into are in towns/citys with populations around 25-35,000 people. also, that size college towns...just some food for thought.

I like cars, especially custom designed ones, so if i am going to buy a franchise, i probably would go for detailexperts. I would certainly like to know everything about cars.

food is trendy, tanning is taxed and falling out of public favor - huge equipment and maintenance costs.... I've had tremendous success with Liberty Tax Service... a national competitor of HR Block, Liberty Tax is seasonal and one of the lowest cost franchises to own. No inventory, low start-up costs and EVERYONE will always have to pay taxes. Death and taxes, right? Plus one more.... change! The tax code changes every single year, which means people will always need tax help.

I currently own one store and will be expanding to three stores this upcoming tax season. I'd be happy to share my experience with anyone considering a franchise opportunity.
