Subway

I'm not getting the hating on Subway... I know many people are just ignorant and everything, but this is a company constantly rated #1 by Entreprenuer magazine. It is a Franchise opportunity that I will soon venture into. I've heard excellent things and it's also good to believe in the product, which I do.

What's with all the hate?

I have seen many good things about Subways Frenchise program, Someone in my local area set up 2 Subway Restaurants within 2 minutes of each other, which in my opinion was a bad idea and I was right, within 6 months one had closed, However the original restaurant is still running and doing well from what I have heard.

Subways is a good franchise investment. BUt in my opinion, nothing beats buying a McDonald's franchise in a metropolitan area......That is guaranteed tons of residual income!

Any thoughts on Mickey Deez?

Mickey Deez you need like 950K - 1.8M liquid & Subway I think it's like 80K - 200K. If I had that kind of liquid I would put my money on McDonald's. McDonald's caters to small children more than Subway does.

I had a friend that owned a Subway with his brother. They were doing really well from it. Especially in Australia Subway is becoming a lot more favourable than McDonald's because everyone is so weight conscience...

5, 5 dollar footlong. I don't know enough to hate or like but I have heard not so good things with Dominos. The owner I knew sold back in 2004 because they made them update his computer system every year or two. The system is still good and it is costly to do a complete overhaul. Update though I just ran into him and he owns another. I didn't ask him if they changed their ways though.

you have to not only believe in your product, but also in your people so that they are able to be just as invested in the venture as you are
