I was wondering, if anyone had any familarity with the build cost of an inline location of a franchise vs. that of a stand alone location? Like wise is their a significant difference in cost i.e under 100k? My rationale is that while you may not gross as much, but wouldn't the overhead be considerably lower especially for a kiosk, and you would still get the same name recognition so the franchising benefits are still there. My only concern is for the fact that locations like airports, and malls, colleges etc., probably charge excessively for their retail spaces, but it would still be cheaper than leasing on a stand alone. Does anyone have experience with this type of franchising?
