Question I need help determining the right licensing options....

I run a dating events business which has two revenue models. The simple one is running events, though this is something I can only do locally.

The second is licensing out the use of the site in other locations throughout the country. By licensing the site, I avoid the legal complications of franchising, but maintain many of the benefits.

I have a couple of challenges which I'm hoping I might find help with through you.

First, I am looking for ideas on the best way/s to let wanna-be entrepreneurs know that this opportunity (which is essentially a turn-key business) is available.

Second, what do I charge? I was thinking of an initial fee, but then should I charge a monthly, quarterly or yearly maintenance fee?
Should I offer an alternative the regular start-up fee and provide a cheaper start-up cost, but with an ongoing commission split?

Third, what am I missing? I'm sure I'm missing pieces of the puzzle here, but licensing out my business isn't something I've done before. Does anybody have experience in this, and what sort of advice would you provide?

    Thanks!

    Josh
