Since you are offering a franchise, I assume you have completed the federally required UFOC documents with all the disclosures and lawyerly stuff. If not, and I suspect that might be the case, you should cease calling it a franchise, which is a legal term, and make sure whatever you do sell someone is not going to get you in legal trouble- if there are any takers.

But this all sounds pretty bogus to me, so I don't expect you'll get much interest. Franchises as a general rule don't sell you secrets- they sell business processes and brand equity, so that right there is a tip off. And then there is the classic question- if this works so well, why are you selling it? Franchising normally occurs because it is the best viable way to finance expansion. That doesn't sound like the case in your business, although you haven't said what the margins are on your sales. And finally, people serious about their business usually learn enough not to go around offering illegal franchises on internet forums.

The site that I own is a dating site. I host "events" at local restaurants/bars. I bring them business (my database) and get new ones from theres. Because I have over 2K profiles on my site, with over 400 paying members, I have the ability to charge the establishment $3,000.00 a night for me/my site to be there. I also have a marketing campaign that costs me $0.00!!

Im not "selling" my business. It makes money and pays bills for me with little to no effort. The aps that I use have a setup in place for Affiliate Programs. In one way or another, you would be an "affiliate" of this program. I created this system so that you or anyone can have a database and the ability to say, "I am the owner of SFSingles.com or whatever community you are in.

This post is setup in this forum for people who are looking to invest in a "home-based" business that do not want to spend 70K on up to start a business. This is exactly how I got started 3 yrs ago. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I would like to view your UFOC....
    Hmmm. Don't have one huh?
You've posted several claims here and you are calling your business a franchise, yet you have yet to answer Cap's questions about whether or not you are actually set up as a legal franchise.

I only hope none of the less experienced preneuraholics here fall for your fairy tales.

Thank you for your posts. Lets clear up some issues -

As I stated in my previous post, For those looking for a "franchise" op, my model is set-up as an affiliate program. This is stricly for someone to take what I have already created and duplicate it their own area. Since I own the compay, take care of hosting, this does mirror a "franchise" op (my name, branding ect.).

The word Franchise is only used because of the model and what I am offering. I never said I was selling my business, selling a franchise ect. As you can see, when I mention the word "franchise", it is used in " ". Before posting bashing comments, read all the post I have put up and be intelligent in your comments.

Bizdev - I'm sorry, several claims??? there a total of 5 replies here,.. 2 are from me. AND, I used the correct term, affiliate, as you can see in the post directly before yours. For the concern of lawyers, yes I do have a team of lawyers. I currently own 3 seperate business' and 13 websites, all of which generate income. So again, Yes, I have lawyers.

You are CLEARLY, DELIBERATELY trying to mislead people with your cavalier use of the words franchise and franchisee. Whether you use " " or not, has nothing to with anything. And btw, as you can see you wrote franchise fee without your quotes.

What you are offering is a business opportunity with or without quotes. If you want to develop any sort of credibility you would be wise to stop attempting to pass off your biz opp as a "franchise" or franchise.

Oh, and while I don't normally resort to personal jabs, your pic makes you come off like a total sleeze. Your questionable (to put it mildly) marketing tactics are bad enough, but come on....if you want to be taken seriously you really should reconsider that photo.

Again, thank you for your posts. Its obvious you put alot of time in your thoughts. It seems you are now looking for a come-back,.. And now you are taking hits on my picture?? LOL Come on now,.. If this is how you are, create an account on AOL and join a chat room.

Anyway, this is a serious business that I put alot of time and effort into. This one site generates over $17K a month for me. I am simply offering someone that is just as serious as I am, to take advantage of an "opportunity" to be successfull. I will be accepting PM's for further questions. Reports are available upon serious requests.

I don't think anyone accused you of doing that. What I did suggest was that you not claim to be offering a franchise or a "franchise" if in fact you have not completed the legal requirements necessary to do so. Simply "having lawyers" is not the same thing.

I also thought that you might generate more interest if you were more direct about the opportunity, the way it works, specifically what you are asking and in exchange for what specific services, brand, "apps" or whatever else it is you are charging people to acquire so they can be like you rather than offering to reveal "secrets".

In general, I guess, I would suggest a more professional approach to the whole venture. There may very well be a business here other people would like to replicate, and would be willing to pay a fee to do so, but you are coming across as pretty unprofessional, slick and untrustworthy and I am sure that is hurting your chances. Just my opinion- feel free to do what you want with it.
