I would take a look at Entrepreneur.com. A couple months ago, Entrepreneur Magazine had their franchising issue. I didn't review it too extensively, as I have no interest in franchising, but it looked rather thorough.

    Billboard Connection Franchise

The Billboard Connection Franchise is probably by far the best home-based franchise. Their are owned by the group that owns Sign-A-Rama and EmBroidMe... You become your own ad agency and sell advertising space. It is a great concept

There are a number of different home based franchises available. It depends which "industry" you'd be successful in. Options range from franchise consulting, to junk removal, to even pet waste removal companies.

Be cautious when researching home based businesses. Some may only be 10% home based. A consulting business may require you make phone calls all day to build a client base, while a home based painting service may require you go "door to door" gaining client interest.

The question really isn't which home based business is best, but which franchise will be a successful match for you. I'd suggest looking for something that catches your eye and find out if they are home based or not. If not, research another in the same industry.

For those of you who are interested in getting into a "Web-Based Franchise" opportunity, I have one for you...

My site is WELL known in the St.Louis, MO market and I do events on a weekly bases generating monthly revenue of $17,400.00 a month MINIMUM!!

What I do is, host an event on a Friday or Saturday night, which pays me $3000.00 each night ($12,000.00/month), and over $7,000.00 a month in memberships. Since this is a weekly event, I pay people to host the event for me,..

I am not going to give away all my details, but this is a proven solution that took months to master. As a "Franchisee", I will pass on all my secrets to help your success as I want to see your success!!!

I will be more than happy to get you started right away and help make you money,.. By the way, the franchise fee is MINIMAL!!!! I look forward in hearing from you soon,..

I always thought those free papers available at diners/delis/restaurants called "Coffee News" was perfect to be run from your home. Relatively low initial investment as well.

Yeah, you have to be VERY careful about those home-based opportunities. Make sure you check them out.

My product page for one of mine is Bios Life Slim | The First REAL Fat Loss Breakthrough in 30 Years!. If it sounds like something you might be interested in promoting, let me know.

    Hi Guys,

Thought i'd drop my two-penny-worth in. I published a blog post in Feb 1 ( intrench dot blogspot dot com/2007/12/2008-year-of-google-seo-consultant.html) entitled: 2008: The year of the Google SEO Consultant Franchise

If you want further details let me know. I've been getting a lot of interest and the more interest i get the more i can make SEO franchise work. Not just for UK but for everywhere. You see, there are millions of potential clients out there with websites that do nothing - just waiting to attract customers. This is a truly win win situation for all parties concerned. Home workers and businesses.

You should look into Coffee News as a home-based business. Low cost, with high income potential. I started my first edition this year.
