    What's your greatest startup challenge?

As a startup company, what's been your biggest obstacle? How have you managed to overcome it? What's your advice to others entrepreneurs who might run into a similar problem?

Investment is generally the Greatest start up challenge for all. Mainly for me I feel Investment in terms of place and raw material gets really difficult as a person starting up something normally doesnt have that much of funds. And with the Real estate and rental prices so high, this is a very difficult task.

Sounds cliche, but I think biggest hurdle is the "fear"...the "omg, am i about to throw away everything I've learned about stability and rationality and dive headlong into a pool with an unknown depth"

Certainly young entrepreneurs have to face tons of problems. There are several problems that might fail a start up. One of them is lack of experience and knowledge. In order to help those who want to be their own boss, we have created a platform called homebasefranchise.com where people can learn the best business ideas and implement that knowledge in their businesses particularly in online business.

I think learning from past experience is the most important thing. But you can't learn without trying.

The greatest challenge in my view is gaining TRUST.

Your bankers/investors/friends trust in you will get you capital
Proffessionals trust in you will get you the right team for your project
Trust in yourself will see you through the desperate times when no one believes in you.

Biggest Issue I've seen is Finding someone to have same faith in the Idea as you have. And is willing to make the Jump. I'm new here and trying to figure out best way to design or write up Business proposal For Sports bike custom shop. Looking for that Partner that can see where this can Go and what the possibilities are.

My greatest startup challenge has been avoiding overthinking and just executing my designs on t-shirts and seeing how the market feels about my creations. I wait til I feel like everything's perfect, sleep on it for an extra day, and then doubt the design. If I just produce my shirts, I wont doubt my designs the next day.

    I've researched, I've planned, I'm prepared...now I have to DO!

    Great point.

My particular challenge right now is gaining traction and finding clients/having clients come to me.
I think I've set myself up to eventually obtain these things, but patience is a virtue I definitely lack.

Start-ups have to face a lot of challenges. Mine challenge was to find correct employees who would be committed and dedicated. To overcome this challenge I preferred to take people through referrals and more of friends. It was the right decision and today I have a good hard working team.

My Greatest Challenge is staying focused on "thinking big." When you have 0 experience, 0 cash, 0 connections, and 100 people you look at that have Years of Experience, Plenty of Cash, and an Entire Network - it is sometimes discouraging to bring the mind back to home-base and build MY business. How I deal with it is by getting back on the horse every night.

Stay focused and keep thinking big. Develop SMART goals, write them down and evaluate daily to keep you on point. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely)
