    Smile Starting my own small business


    Okay I am wanting to start a new small business. I am just wondering how should I go about advertising my business. Like somethin to set me off. F.Y.I: I sell crafts and jewelry. So please help me!!!!

    If you have the money, I would set up a kiosk inside of a mall. Kiosks usually aren't as expensive as actual stores and you have the same amount of people looking at your stuff, if not more. If you don't have that kind of money, I'm not sure how you could market your merchandise because A) I don't know what type of jewelery and crafts it is and B) I don't know what type of budget you have.

    I don't think giving information packets to local popular places is going to do you any good, you might want to try to talk to the local businesses and see if they would like to buy your products or if they would be interested in doing a drop shipping type business where you put the items in their store for free and when they sell them they get a percentage of sales, which can be determined if they have a sophisticated POS system, if they don't you could just do inventory once every two weeks and when inventory decreases you know they made a sale.
