    Great advice, Matt.

There are US Blank Skateboard manufacturers that sell decks for really cheap. When you find these companies, call them up and ask them their policy on reprinting decks. They will most likely have no problem with it. My company does print skateboards as well, PM me and I can let you know costs. We've also been in the skate market for a few years and supply our products to skate shops around the world, so ask any questions about the market. Also check out Transworldbusiness.com. They have alot of info on the skate market's business aspects.

Good advice, especially about finding a niche and targeting it. It is such a diluted industry that it is difficult to compete with the top companies. Marketing and distribution channels are necessary, yet often overlooked.

I recently started a skateboard design company called Defcon Designs and do I need a buisness license before I sell any of our boards? So far our production is slow because every board is hand painted and we will be working on a website and you can already find us on Facebook but I'm not sure if we need to be like a LLC or something first???
