Starting a Non-profit

I’ve been interested in starting a new global non-profit organization. Lately I’ve done heavy research into the matter. I won’t reveal the name along with the specifics here to protect details prior to registration. Within the last couple of days I’ve been getting an idea of all the necessary materials to promote the name to qualified ... professionals to participate on my administrative board. It would also serve to raise awareness to raise enough money to establish it. Financing it is a major problem right now. The website will be a (not the) main central focus. It will be expensive too after investigating. Due to cost I’ll launch the website only after it is established to protect the name and details until it is registered. We’ll host a coming soon splash then a fully loaded website instead of a halfway put together one that would cause people to distrust us. It will require the hand of a experienced web designer due to the nature of it. Static templates even with flash or CSS elements added would not work. An idea is a custom trademark logo design ($500), custom website ($500-$2,000) and later translation into major languages ($5000+) (Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, English, French, Russian and Spanish). Search engine optimization, major social networks… etc. are an absolute must. We’ll want to be the first thing seen when people search for topics of or relating to our organization. Another focus would be releasing professional grade materials to professionals educating the public. Research will be conducted to bring to light things previously not known beforehand.

This doesn’t mention everything nor is it chronologically ordered. It would require a rather expansive thread to do so. Any tips or advice you’d like to mention? Don't be afraid to ask questions either.
