    Selling Cars

I recently obtain my used car dealership license, and I always been interested in starting up my own dealership. I want to do this the right and legal way, so I want to know if anybody has any experience in this business. I need some advice to watch out for and the challenges of creating this business and also getting financial help.

You need to know about cars when you buy them at the auction.
Star with any model of Honda or Toyota. These are the best selling cars than any other.
You can sell them fast .Buy and sell again untill you can get an experience.
Now economy is tough even tougher for car business. So sell cars like up to $3500 .
You will be able to survive .Hard to sell a car .Aprox 15 people call you 4 or 5 people
appear and one of them will buy the car.You have to be very patience selling a car.
People are very picky. They want to get a very good car paying less.It is not possible economically but People
    This is my experience.Good Luck

I have worked heavily in the high end auto industry for the past five years there is a ton to know when selling, buying, and prepping a car for selling. Your best answers will come from experience. You need to be reading hundreds and maybe even thousands of articles on cars... There is a right and a wrong way to sell cars and there is a stagnant and a successful car industry right now it is all a matter of what your selling. Also people HATE someone who doesn't know what they are selling... you need to know so much about the car that you can have an entire conversation with the person about how it was made... whats different about it... why it should be there's... Be persistent but NEVER annoying.. also you mentioned car dealership.. DO NOT have a location just yet you need to start with no overhead "expenses" you need to start by selling a car online then take your profit and budget your money SPENDING, SAVING, and EXPENSES. Slowly your budget for spending will increase along with the quality of cars your purchasing and selling we call this "FLIPPING". It is very difficult to start from scratch most people work for years as a salesmen or mechanic but starting from scratch is very possible if you plan accordingly. If you have any questions on cars... what has demand... and what to buy... or maybe what to look for when buying... you can skype instant message me.

    Hope this helps,
    Blake

You should check out SCORE. They are all over the place. It is a bunch of retired executives that will sit down with you and go over license stuff, laws, writing a business plan, funding, etc. It really helps! i think the website is score.org
