    Question Roadside Assistance business..

    Been thinking about it. I'd use the truck I already got, buy some jumper cables, car jack, a few spare tires, and some basic tools and I'd be in business.

    Startup costs would be fairly low, and I could easily train someone else to take over for me after a few months of business.

    All calls would be routed to a virtual assistant, and then they'd call me (or the other drivers) with the customer details.

    I wouldn't be a tow company. I'd focus on doing on basic stuff like jumps, tire changes, fuel re-fills. By not being a tow company, I can avoid the need for a special license, however, I could affiliate with a service like AAA who can provide tow services in the event that one of my customers needs to be towed.

    Prices:
    Jumps --> $50
    change flats -- $40
    gas refills -- cost + $30
    towing assistance -- $25

    Interesting... did you do some research in your area? Is there a market? Are you able to attract a portion of that market?
