Problems with keeping the energy alive

    Hi all,

Have recently started up an online business which has seen me quit my day job. Well it's been 3 months into the planning and the plan is 90% there but unfortunately the website still hasn't started being built. It will be getting built though as of next week though.

My area of concern is, is that it's going to be another 2 - 3 months until it's done, which leaves me with not so much to do. I know there's a lot I could be doing like researchig etc, which is what I have been doing but my energy level doesn't feel the same unfortunately as it did in the first few weeks. Has anyone else copped this? As this week was the first week that I questioned is what I am doing right.

If anyone could be kind enough to tell me how to revive the energy, it would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

ummmm...yea, usually management stays in business and gets out of bed in the morning because its got a gun to its head...either in the form of a board of directors, creditors, shareholders or customers (or a spouse)

perhaps you may wanna invest in one of either of these (not sure about the spouse though)...rather than "research"

that's pretty much all there is to say about sustained motivation..for the most part, startups are a sustained chain of acute crisis management highlighted by peaks of founder euphoria..
