    Please read......could use your input.......

OK guys so here it is I have a great idea for something i want to do in my area not going to list where for security purposes but anyhow.....I want to make up a bunch of fliers post on craigslist etc. something along the lines of....Anythingyouneed which basically means I can assist you in several services for example if you are looking into buying or selling something i can help by getting you the best price or if you are looking for a job or just the trying to hire people i go around finding the right people, if you are remodeling or need services of any kind i research and sub contract out the best and most affordable. I have a whole list of other services to which I would provide but Now my question to you guys is do you think im offering to many services, should i stick to just dealing with one specific thing. Can you see this ever helping you out, do you see yourself or others ever calling or emailing me for help

any suggestions greatly appreciated also sorry for my grammar its a little off

I see value in what you mention, but a couple things come to mind.

You might want to take a look over the Craigslist policies. Some stuff in there might effect how you go about things. For example I don't know if you could post the same thing in multiple areas.

A big thing would be getting people to feel confident that you would do a good job with your service. So some form of showing comments from previous clients would be important I think.

I dont like this idea in mny honest opinion. If i want something done I want it doen by someone who is going to do it right. Someone who will do anything is in most cases not going to be very good at what you need done! It is just way to broad. It gives me the impression of a fly by night or swindler just trying to take my money. Just my honest opinion

I know a local business who does something similar for businesses. They sort of work on the principal of building a database of suppliers/tradesman etc. and than along with their various telemarketing/cold caling activities cross promote that they can source/recommend any thing.
Guys always busy but don't know how profitable his model is.
    I'll also pm you

I think I will have to agree with Chanson. I will not be ready to trust someone who says he's a "jack of all trades" this means he's "a master of none"

Nevertheless you can simply act as middleman, by searching for the demand of services and outsourcing them to qualified people at lower prices.

If you were going to do this, then I'd say to specailize in something. For example you could help people find the lowest interest rate for a car loan. There are many, many, many providers, but most people just walk down to their local bank, but I think Lendingtree.com already does this, or something similar.

You could also be a scout for people looking to buy a used car. Again, tons and tons of people selling used cars, but also there are big name providers that already take the cake here, like vehix, autotrader, carmax, and ebay.

    So it boils down to:

    1. What can you do better?
    2. Can you provide the same quaility at or below market price?
    3. What services can you provide, that others arn't?

when I was thinking about my business I had to ask myself the same questions, and the Loan industry is packed with competition, so here were my answers to the above...

    1. Provide loan services to people in an ethical, and honest environment where borrowers feel comfortable, and don't feel like they're being taken for a ride.
    2. Loans below the industry average, and other perks.
    3. Develope business as well as a one-on-one relationships with Customers, making their experience more personal

    ...you need an edge.

On Craigslist you can post on more than one city's site I believe.
