    Personal Training business

I'm thinking of starting up a personal training business. One where trainers go to peoples homes and train them. Now I can create the site / logo / and do all the marketing. I plan on hitting the market much differently then the competition out there.

I am thinking of hiring 2 trainers to start. Give them t-shirts and materials with my logo brand on it that they have to wear when seeing clients. I was thinking of paying them solely commission. I plan on getting the clients for my trainers, a feed system.

What ideas / things am I missing..

    thanks in advance!

    Where will you be located?

Have you completed a business plan? If not, I would recommend starting there. (Not the comprehensive kind, but one of the simple templates)
You will need to check the laws in your area and make sure you have all of the appropriate license, permits, etc. (State and local).
You will need to check with your CPA to make sure you are covering the trainers appropriately. (Employee vs. 1099 contractor)
You will need to determine whether you will operate as a sole proprietor, LLC, etc.
If LLC, S-Corp or INC you will need to file articles.
You will need to set up a separate bank account for your business
If your state requires you to collect sales tax on the service, you will need to find out how and where to pay sales tax.
If will need to set aside roughly 25% of your revenue to cover self employment tax

This is just a short list of things to consider. Once these have been completed you need to dig in and evaluate marketing, AP/AR, Non-compete agreements, client contracts, payroll, etc.

Well only thing I would suggest is build relations with the clients yourself. It shouldn't happen later that your trainers take the business away from you if they join somewhere else. If the clients knows you well, then they wont shift and will stick with your company.
