Opening a Holding Company

I have 2 business' under my name. However, i was considering of opening a holding company to manage them and any future business i open.

How would i go about registering a Holding Company and have it own my current business'?

I have a few details from what i read and heard... but still trying to get some concrete details and information how to setup a holding company with companies below.
