Hello.
I have recently thought of a new product idea. After a lot of research, i have not found any competition or any patents related to my idea.
I believe this has the potential to be very successful worldwide.
The reasons i think this is because:
It solves a major problem that the market has.
This market is used by 99% of the population of all developed countries.
I do not intend to compete with the competition, but instead supply each company with my product then they can change it to suit their product.
Therefore if i had a patent i would have no competition.
The product can be manufactured cheaply and has an excellent profit margin.

Currently this is still at the idea stage. Although i have planned exactly what i want to do, how to manufacture etc etc.

My questions are:

What do i do next?
How do i look into patenting my idea. Im in the UK but would like a worldwide patent if that is possible?
How do i approach the major companies in this market to show how my idea can benefit them?
