New business idea - is it any good?

I have had this idea, and wondered if you would provide feedback please? As a small business owner would you use this web design agency?

-Approximately 40% cheaper than using a small, local-based web design agency -Your site is project managed by a locally based experienced project manager/ website designer in the UK
-Face-to-face meetings are available when required with our experience UK project manager / website designer
- The site is coded and designed in India
- your site is project managed and quality controlled until you are 100% satisfied – by the project manager/ website designer you meet face to face.

Summary: The client experience will be exactly the same, as using a standard locally based web designer; but will cost approximately 40% less.

Hmm...

I might, however, 40% decrease in cost may not exactly be a good thing for your business image.

If the cost without the 40% decrease in price is already low, then making it even lower could make your business image seem unprofessional as some people may see a extremely cheap price and be turned off by that, thinking it might not be great quality work.

My feel was that the excessive discussion of price will become your biggest headache. Instead why don;t you use your process (rentacoder or whatever) for a few clients, get them raving about the service and then take another look at what you're saying. Have the customer help you understand better what you do. DO IT then re-think how you market it.

It all seems a bit too spread out to me. I may not want to have to deal with someone in the UK, and then hope that they can accurately convey what I want revised to someone in India - and vice-versa.

There are just too many middlemen and steps involved. You may want to think about simplifying things a little bit.
