I've submitted my idea into a local startup competition where the top 10 ideas to receive the most votes will move on to present in front of a panel of judges and receive $5,000 in funding and other great resources. THEPRIZEPURSUIT.COM:
At ThePrizePursuit.com we host live internet scavenger hunts where
thousands of players from across the globe compete against one another
in a game of wit, speed and skill. Players in each hunt are sent to a
number of sponsors sites. On each sponsors site the players are asked
a specific number of questions about that sponsors products/services.
The fastest player in each hunt wins the grand prize.
You're probably wondering how ThePrizePursuit.com can help your
business. We have designed our game to utilize product engagement to
leave a lasting impression of your company with our users. The value
in this method of advertising goes well beyond that of a typical
banner ad, CPM ad campaign or textual advertising. While these methods
can be somewhat effective the value in product engagement exceeds that

Rounding Up America is a non-profit aimed at collecting a large number of small value donations. We've all done it, we've been at the gas pump, the pump stops just .20cents short of that $30.00 mark. So what do we do? We add that little extra to give us that nice even number.
What I always wondered is, "What if we apply that same concept to every day transactions at the mall, or the grocery store?". If your total of your purchase on amazon comes out to $19.87, why not round that up to an even $20.00. That extra 13 cents can be donated to the charity of your choice. By approaching the major credit cards we could possibly even make this an option you can add to your card. A simple logo on your card could tell the cashier your participating in the program and they can ask if you'd like to round up your purchase.
To take it to the next level this concept could be easily integrated into paypal and shopping carts across the web, even allowing you to post a notification on your facebook announcing your donation to all your friends. The viral marketing could take this charity to unseen heights!
