It is so frustrating being an eighteen year old with no money. Obviously I am determined to start my own business and succeed, but once my business is big, I wouldn't let it slide downhill - I would always want it to be the best it could possibly be.
I can't really explain my frustration without giving an example, so here is one:
I was working in my part time job the other night and we had to do a late night stock take to meet legal requirements. We brought in a specialised team called 'WIS' I think, who counted and scanned all of our items. They were obviously a pretty big company as I hear they may be agreeing terms to take the stock of JD Sports and the Anfield football ground, but their staff were so demotivated and unorganised. They finished the job 2 hours late and we were also being paid by our company for standing and watching pretty much. I just wish I could have taken over the company, removed the levels of management that were present that were just not needed at all and made the company so much more successful with some simple common sense.
Anyone understand where I'm coming from? I'm pretty sure Theo Paphitis became successful by turning around failing businesses.
