How to Realize my Entrepreneurial Dream?

I have been pursuing my entrepreneurial dream since I was 12 years old in 1996, now I’m 26. My dream is one day to establish a large multi-million and even a billionaire holding company such as “Berkshire Hathaway”. I will participate with 0% share and the all capitals will flow in my established holding company from external shareholders such as “Bank of America”, “JPMorgan Chase Group”, “Morgan Stanley”, “Goldman Sachs”, “Citigroup”, “Barclays” and so on. And I will be only the President and CEO of my established holding company which I will manage it and will earn only some percentage as a bonus from the net income which will be shared among the shareholders. But to realize this dream, the most important factor is to gain the confidence of all those investors which I will try to convince them to invest their equity capitals into my new established holding company. And for this reason, I’ve made a plan how to achieve this goal to gain the confidence of all these prospective my shareholders on which I will rely on to realize my dream.

My plan included to build a lot of credentials in my Resume. First, I graduated a straight-forward Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2008. Now, I’m a Graduate student pursuing my Straight-Forward MBA degree with prospective graduation in May, 2012. And afterwards, I have planned to apply for a Doctorate degree in Business Administration (DBA) with concentration in Management, starting from the Fall semester of 2012. But since, I’ve got on this web-site, on this forum, and I’ve read this thread – youngentrepreneur.com/forum/f41-management/mba-vs-dba-or-phd-in-business-27277.html now I’m a lot of hesitated what to do. Either I should continue with my initial plan or to change it?

My personal Qualities in addition to my Education are –

I have only 2 Natural Qualities but they are very strongly expressed in my character because this is what I like to do every day in my free time as a hobby not as a requirement:

1. I like to research very thoroughly a lot of economic, political, historical, social, geographical, and even sport cases.

2. After I have researched all these cases, I like very much to create strategic plans and programs for development or investment projects in the economic, political, social or sport areas.

This is what I do in my free time just for pleasure and brings me a lot of satisfaction to do it. I like very much to research, analyze and then to create a plan for the solution of some problem.

But the problem now is that I’ve become very confused after I’ve read this thread – youngentrepreneur.com/forum/f41-management/mba-vs-dba-or-phd-in-business-27277.html

Now I don’t know what to do? Should I continue with my initial plan to apply for a Doctoral degree in Business Administration with concentration in Management, or to apply for some other PhD Program such as in Economics maybe or any other PhD?

If there is some prophet please tell me what is my prospective career? What will be my future professional career? I’d like to know with my personal qualities which brings me a lot of satisfaction when I do what I’d like to do, what career may I pursue? Is the career the same such as I planned it in 1996 to become a President and CEO of my own established holding company for billions of USD or I should focus on some other area considering my personal natural qualities and of course my favorite commitment on the research of a lot of different social, political and economic cases and then to create plans and strategic programs for their development.

Now, I want to ask you one less abstract and particular question considering my Entrepreneurial Dream.

So, what is the difference among these 3 Business Entities – a holding company such as “Berkshire Hathaway” vs. private equity fund vs. venture capital fund ?

My entrepreneurial dream includes the particular business idea to establish my business entity which to be funded from external sources of equity capital, and I to be only the President and CEO of this entity which I’ll manage it. And in the beginning after the establishment of this entity, the entity will include business activities in 7 different branches of the Economy.

1. Growing of Diversified Agriculture and Livestock for the direct production and supply of perishable and raw foodstuffs to the consumption market, and the production and supply of raw materials to the food processing industry.

2. Construction of Food Processing Plants for the production and supply of all kinds of foodstuffs to the consumption market and restaurants.

3. Construction of Textile Plants for the production and supply of all kinds of clothes to the consumption market.

4. Construction a chain of many supermarkets for supply of foodstuffs, a chain of many stores for supply of clothes and a chain of many restaurants.

• The Investment so far in these 4 different branches = $1,250,000,000 USD

5. Construction of refinery for the production and supply of bio-diesel and conventional gasoline.

6. Construction a chain of many gas-stations for the supply of fuel.

7. Production and Supply of automobile vehicles with hybrid engines consuming conventional gasoline, bio-diesel and electricity with the strategic goal for Research and Development of automobile engines with full-electricity engines consuming only electricity, as powerful as the conventional engines, ability for battery re-charge no longer than 10-15 minutes and ability to pass between 250 and 500 miles with one recharge of the batteries. (The 7th Branch is very important for me with the strategic goal one day to conquer the whole World Market with my patent)

• The Investment in the last 3 different branches = $1,250,000,000 USD

TOTAL INITIAL INVESTMENT for the Establishment of my Business Entity = $2,500,000,000 USD.

But now I want to ask you what type of business entity will be my business entity that I plan to establish one day - a holding company such as “Berkshire Hathaway” or a private equity fund or a venture capital fund?

And what degree I need to obtain after the graduation of my MBA in 2012 – a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration or a PhD Degree in Economics?

No, I'm not interested to teach, I'm not able to teach. But I want to make a research on various social cases, then to create some political and public administration reforms and finally to submit them influencing the policymakers to take my work in consideration.

Also, I like mostly to research a lot of different economic cases and then to create strategic programs for economic development.

And last but not at least I like very much to create a lot of business plans and investment projects such as this one about the establishment of my own business entity which I still don't know what type is it - a holding company or a private equity fund or maybe a venture capital fund?

But in my free time, my hobby is to make research on various geographical and historical cases, and the most important in my free time which relaxes me and re-charges me with a lot of fresh energy is to travel and visit personally a lot of different places.

Now, I want to add just a little more information about my professional interests and my entrepreneurial dream.

As I said a little earlier, I’ve had my entrepreneurial dream for the establishment of my business entity operating into 7 different branches of the Economy for almost 12 years and I’ve pursued this dream until today. But in the same time, I’ve liked very much to research the World History and Geography, and to travel and visit a lot of new places which charges me with a lot of positive energy.

But afterwards in 2003, when I started my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, I put just a little apart my interests to research the World History and Geography and focused my attention on my business education because I found it very interesting to study:

1. The Management process and the Implementation of Changes at a Business Company

2. The Entrepreneurship process and Business Consulting process including the Business Planning

3. The Marketing process of a Business Company and in particular the Business Innovations and Product Development

4. The Financial Management Process of a Business Company including the Corporate Finance with the necessary sources of Capital and Budgeting

5. The Strategic Management Process of a Business Company developing efficient Strategic Programs for Development

And after my Bachelor of Business Administration graduation, in the period since 2008 until 2010, I found that I like to do 2 new very interesting for me jobs:

1. I liked very much every day in this period since 2008 until 2010 to research a lot of World Social and Political cases, and then to create proposals for Reforms in the Public Administration and Strategic Programs for the Sustainable Development of the whole World, and even deserving a Nobel Prize.

2. I liked very much every day in this period since 2008 until 2010 to research the World Capital and Currency Markets.

Then, in the Fall of 2010, when I started my Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and having in mind that I’ve built my MBA curriculum in this way to take my favorite classes of Management, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Finance and Marketing at the end of my MBA program in the Fall of 2011 and in the Spring of 2012, but now in the Fall of 2010 I started my MBA first with taking of my Economics class, and then I found it for very interesting to study the Microeconomics and the Macroeconomics and in particular to research a lot of Economic Cases and then to create Programs for Strategic Economic Development. And unfortunately, my Fall semester is already over, but I’m still very eager to research a lot of interesting economic cases which I was not able to cover all of them only for one semester and then to write many Strategic Programs for the Economic Development not only of the USA or any particular state of the USA, but also for the whole World.

So, I like my future professional career to be dedicated on the research of various Economic, Social and Political Cases and then to create a lot of strategic programs, reforms and investment projects for development of the public administration and the whole World Economy. And, furthermore in my professional career I would like to travel very often and visit a lot of new places in the World, or in the other case just to have a long summer vacations.

But in the same time, I have my Entrepreneurial Dream to establish my business entity operating into 7 different branches of the Economy such as the holding company of “Berkshire Hathaway”.

And now I should take the very important decision a year and half before my MBA gradutiuon in May, 2012 what should I do afterwards? Either to apply for a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration or to apply for a PhD in Economics?
And what should I start to work that will be as much as interesting for me and allowing me to travel, and in the same time allowing me to realize my entrepreneurial dream?

1. O.K. I'm already open to hear a thorough list with research opportunities (jobs) for generating profit, please ?

2. And second, the other job that I want to do except the research activity, I want to produce ideas for new products or for product development or to produce ideas for whole business development and to get paid for my work. What is the name of this kind of a job - BUSINESS CONSULTANT or some other name ?
