    Business advice for beginners

    Hi everybody
I'm a new member to the forum.
I'm planing to start my own business, private school for English language in my town.
I have no previous experience with business, so any advice suitable for young entrepreneurs would be appreciated.
    Regards to all of You.

You need to be able to preach what you teach. If you're going to teach English in your town, you need to be able to teach correct English. Will you be teaching students?

    First, draft a business plan.
Although you might have all these thoughts carefully drafted in mind, it is still best to put them all into writing.
There you will see what things you have as your strengths as well as your weaknesses.
You will be surprised that even a simple language school has quite a few things to focus on.

Send me a message if you need some insights.
I have put up and managed an online and offline ESL school in the past.

You seem to have struck gold with luvinlyf.

If you can find someone who has experience doing what you want to do that is willing to help you then you have won half the battle already.

One thing I would add is work out where you are going to find students, it should be the 1st thing that you consider as without students, you will not make any money no matter how good your school is.

It seems quite simple, but because You add that You have previous experience with managing ESL schools, can You please tell me more about difficulties or some possible problems?

What kind of funds do you have to start with?
What is your plan for location and real estate of the school?
What is your ultimate goal for the school within one years time?
Do you have a business plan written up yet?
Do you plan on hiring people at any point in time?

Any details are greatly appreciated, and I will do my best to give advice based on them

    x339 Thank You for respond.
I do have a business plan. The location for my school is in the center of the city. Crowded place, which means good location. I am an English teacher so at the beginning I won't hire anyone, maybe later if the number of students grows.
I am more focused on information about what are the risks of running your own business, and similar questions
    Regards
