Thinking Sell E-commerce Website

Have e-commerce website built, I am thinking of selling it but I am unable determine value for it. We get about 20-25 orders per month right now (not a lot), but December we hit 50 orders plus. Traffic is not a lot, still needs plenty of work. Rank # 1-2-3 for about 7-8 keywords including main ones. Gross sales are approx, $1,500-$2,000 per month , make $40-50 bucks revenue from ad sense per month, will remove it most likely. Net Profit is 100 % or over, for each sale. No Drop ship, no automated, it's real business with a lot hard work and time put into it. I know it can get up to 100 orders per month, average ticket price is $75.00 dollars, $7,500 gross sales month, $90,000 per year that does not include (November and December), content is re-written 800 number fax number, everything is there. Alexa Ranking is 3,400,000 or so but do the math based on orders right now and what the potential is, it's HOT SELLING PRODUCT. PM Me for link and more details.

Thanks!

I'm a bit curious as to how your net profit could possibly exceed 100%. If your revenue on an item is $100 and you have zero expenses (no product cost, shipping cost, payment processing cost, etc) the most you could profit would be 100%. I would certainly appreciate a bit of explanation before attempting to place a value on your site.

Thanks! Jon

Site is very clean and looks rather professional. The estimated value of your site is $848. How much are you looking to get out of this site? Do you have wholesaling connections, equipment, current inventory, etc? Thanks.

_______________

Jon, we get custom discount rate from fedex and it will go up more we ship have an account manager already. Material for product cost 1.50-7.00 dollars from small to large size pictures. Payment, use costco they have lowest service available 1.99 % no gateway, no monthly, nothing and I think it is $ .20 cents per transaction. I use paypal they are ripping me right now, just been so busy with other stuff didn't get chance come to do it yet. I mentioned before I deal with the manufacture itself not distributor or wholesaler involved, rates have gone up for this but we get the same price for past 2 years. I don't care what DNS scoop says, you don't go based on analysis of some software they have coded to find out value of certain websites, I have only 2000 plus back links, It's the profit at the end and off line marketing. Have 3 competitors right now, so yeah, this will answer both of you.

I suggest you go to Small Business Resources & Small Business Information for the Entrepreneur, on left side has link where says business for sale and find people who are selling, you will get rough idea there.

My guess is that the original poster's statement that "Net Profit is 100 % or over, for each sale" was intended to convey that price of each product is marked up at least double the cost of good sold, so as to provide a profit margin of at least 100% of the cost of the good. However, I could be wrong.

well he was asking basically how can you make 100 % profit , if for example Product A. costs 50 bucks you sell 100, how are you making 50? Take out all fees, packing, shipping etc .... well its 100 % or more.

I'm confused. If he meant what I explained that I thought he meant, then to make a profit that is 100% of costs, simply sell your item which cost you $50 for COGS and to which $5 of overhead can be attributed for $110. Or maybe $120. Then you are making a net profit that is 100%+ of your costs, aren't you?

yes, well if you buy something for 1 dollar you sell for 2 dollars you made 100 % profit forget the other costs incurred too it just do 1+1 here... at the end make 100 % profit or plus when u start doing volume.
