RentersQ seems like it has very little user base or information. It shows no rentals or anything for sale in the entire city of Chicago or surrounding areas or anywhere in New York City or within 25 miles of the city. The alexa rating is over 4 million and the site doesn't even have that many inbound links or results in search engines, meaning traffic is probably pretty low. I can't imagine net revenues are even $100,000, and being only one year old, the business probably has negative earnings.

I would love to know how a $5MM sale price is justified, or even anything in the hundred thousand dollar range. To me it appears the site is nothing but a 'good idea' protected with IP that had no success.

I'm with you saunders. I think they'll have a tough time selling this site to anyone for anything more than 50k. If I had the $50k, I'd snap it up in a heartbeat...too bad I don't. I think it could become a significant player in the industry if it were to pull together the tenant ratings and available properties, allowing a prospective tenant to see only properties where they will be qualified based on their score.

But this thing is going to take a ton of market development.
