I'm new to the forum, but I'm thrilled to see such a great community here! I am posting because I run a dating events service in the San Francisco Bay Area and I've decided to make it available to others.

I do a variety of events, most of which are themed like Single Parents speed dating or Dog & Animal Lovers; Wine Enthusiasts; etc...
But anybody running events through my site can do any kind of event they want.

I'm posting here not to sell the site (I'm quite happy with it), but rather because I can't host events in any other state when I'm only in California.

I have two offers available to entrepreneurs:

1. Buy a geographical location from which to host your own events for a flat fee with a quarterly (and remarkably small) fee.

- or -

2. Rent the use of the site for your geographic location for a minor monthly fee and 15% commission on your online sales. All 'at the door' sales would be 100% yours.

My website LocalDatingEvents. com is currently run solely by me in the Bay Area. I have run a variety of successful events out here (including some very interesting Lesbian events, tell ya later) and have been testing out possibilities for making the site national.

I believe I am ready to make it available to the right person at a reduced price because this would be the first live licensee test. When logged on to the site, you'll see the location named. Clicking it, you'll see some test locations, but of course, yours would be real.

I have an licensee guide which covers all aspects of your admin site as well as some basic operational guidlines. Overall managing your site would be pretty intuitive. Plus, I'll be available to help you out by phone and email too. Obviously, your success is a plus for us both.

I am definitely interested but I am new at this. Would you say this is a difficult for a newbie? Please tell me how much you are asking as well. I'm not sure if it matter but I am from Cleveland, Ohio so those are the singles that I will be reaching. I tried emailing you and it said it was invalid.

When it comes to starting a business there are always a lot of challenges and depending
on your skill sets some may be harder or easier than others. When you say "newbie", do
you mean to this kind of business or have you been an entrepreneur before?

For me, preparing, planning & hosting the events is the easy part. Marketing them is
the tough piece of the puzzle for me. The more you do, the easier it gets though.
Eventually, word of mouth and an email campaign with your existing customers can be
enough to keep the ball rolling.

Why don't we speak on the phone and I'll tell you more, give you tour of the admin side
and explain the different start-up pricing options available. I'm keeping it cheap
because I haven't let anyone else do it yet, and I want to be sure it goes smoothly for
all parties before I charge anything much.
