    website with $500 a month profit - BIN $1000

If you are interested in owning a site that earns $500 a month and requires no technical knowledge for $1000, please PM me for further details. I want serious buyers only, hence I am not putting all details in this thread. From an investment perspective, this is an opportunity to gain a 600% annual ROI, I don't know of many other investments that offer that kind of return. (and if you do I would love to know about them)

Ok, the site sells investment Ebooks with the following contents:

    Relevant calculations and mathematics
    Qualitative considerations
    Consumer Monopolies
    Toll Bridges
    Mr Market theory
    discount dividend valuation model
    real life applications
    management considerations
    business tenets
    financial tenets

5 Ebooks have been sold in october at $100 each

September 1 ebook was sold ($100)

Site has been established for 2 months

Total expenses was $20 of advertising in september

No affiliate program has been used however this would be a viable growth option

The site requires a couple of hours per week to run

Orders are received either via paypal "buy now" button or via contact form

    Site uses simple opensource template

Has daily Page Views of approx 180.

Traffic from: search, forums, social networks, ads

    Url: valueinvestmentcentre.com

Why would you sell a site that makes $500 a month so cheaply?
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I need capital for a new project so I am selling some of my websites to fund it. Plus there seem to be so few people around willing to pay a half decent amount of money to buy a website, anyone I have spoken to either has a $100,000 budget or a $200 budget, so I have priced it as cheaply as possible to try and get a quick sale.

I'll be interested to see if anyone takes advantage of a good opportunity when presented one.

Well you know..I listed for sale for $3000 and got no response, I lower the price to sell and suddenly people think it's a scam. Seriously I just want to sell the site, I'm 16 and I want some cash the $500 I've already made plus a $1000 seems fine to me and I feel I'm giving people a pretty good opportunity, take it as you will. (I would love to sell the site for more, but something is only worth what people will pay for it)

And for those on here who feel they 'smell a scam', maybe they should request to see all the proofs, stats, url etc. before making an outlandish claim.

rogercbryan you stated in another thread 'value of my first website' that "websites are only worth what someone will pay for them". Unless you are lacking in basic integrity, then you have completely contradicted yourself because I have attempted selling this site at a higher price with no success and I am therefore aiming to set it at a price which someone will pay. Your assumption on the nature of this deal was very uneducated.

Now do you see that, I have just made a SUBSTANTIATED claim.

More frustration! Entrepreneurs take advantage of an opportunity when they see one!

What are you not so sure about?

Some of you would do well to read the ebook this site sells about the techniques of warren buffett. If you did, you would know that he amassed his multi billion dollar fortune by following one of many principles known as the 'mr market' theory. The theory basically dictates that when the market provides a great buying opportunity, you take it. This can be applied to all facets of business.

Awwww how cute now we've gone and gotten him all upset.. You are offering to sell a site at a ratio of income to asking price that is unwarranted. You've made no effort yet in any of your responses to justify your asking price. Saying you asked for $3000 and got no takers so you lowered your price to $1000 is assinine... you got no offers because you haven't given any info to support your price or any price for that matter.

If you are going to come back that this is a sales site and you've made 1 sale for $500 then don't waste your time... What exactly was your SUBSTANTIATED claim??? I'm sorry I was so busy looking for substance in your sales offer and correlating responses that I must have over looked it...

Ahhh an ebook website... I'll start the bidding at $1... thats also my highest offer... and yes I'm being an ass... and yes I like it! Put the site on ebay or sitepoint... run an auction.. let me know how it turns out! If the site is making $500 a month... keep it for two months! I know I'm uneducated.. but hell keep it for three months... wow 50% profit over your asking price!

rogercbryan is going back to banging his head against the wall as it is more productive then this thread...

Sorry I just had to post this PM that ubersportz sent me.... (keep it in the thread please next time)

If a deal is too good to be true..well then it is. (I smell a scam)

Mate I don't care what you smell, unless you have an educated view with all the facts to back up your statements then I suggest you cease to make totally outlandish claims. If you had requested the url, seen all the proofs and stats, seen where I have marketed the site and in what manner and then felt that it was a scam, then fair enough make your smart a** comments, but in the circumstances under which you have made them, they are simply silly.
An asking price with out supporting info is worthless and a waste of everyones time. You are telling me I should have asked for the url and supporting info... WRONG... you should have given that out with your very first post! You could have avoided more then just me calling this a scam... we don't have time for.. nor the desire to dig for the info you should provide from the get go... so now do you see why we are all so frustrated with your offer (or lack there of!)

You made a big mistake not including the url in your offer. Btw, I can name an investment returning an over 600% annual gain. Lookup Lahde Capital and founder Andrew Lahde .

If this is an ebook site you will get a much lower multiple than a content site or affiliate site. That's probably why you couldn't get $3k or whatever you were asking. To be honest, most seasoned webmasters avoid ebook sites so you will have difficulty selling this site to them.

Exactly RLorenzen, and thats why I'm asking 1000, I know I'm not going to get 3000 or even 2500, so I have set a price to sell the site. Yes the site would make a profit 50% better if I kept it for 3 months, I don't want to keep it for 3 months I like my new project and I want to focus on it, it provides better a return. Anyway I just want to sell the damn site, all detail are now in thread.
