Watch The Simpsons Online Site: 1500-2000 a month and growing

Hello, In december I started making a website where you can watch all the simpsonsepisodes online. I worked on it for upwards of 2000 hours until every simpsons episode was up and every episode had a description, title, episode number, episode screens hot, rating script, and comment script. The episodes are not hosted with video sharing websites such as megavideo so none should be taken down.

About 2 months ago I started my seo on this site. I submitted about 300 links and jumped to about 7 thousand uniques a day. I have broken every traffic record for my site since December for the past 5 days in a row. More seo could bring this site to 30 uniques a day at least. So there is potential with the finished site to make a least 8 grand a month.

Right now it i am using cpalead which makes the users complete one survey to get free access to all the episodes for life. This brings in about 1500-2000 USD a month.

The site also has numerous fan pages such as, well designed and layout forums with 220ish members. Character profiles with pics of the characters and facts and details about them, a episode guide, each episode organize by seasons, each season has its own page. A fan art section, a feedback section, donation section, treehouse of horror section, a flanders dictionary, Top 20 druken quotes page, season 20 review page, loyal memberbase, and a crowded shoutbox, and affiliate advertising with graboid on the menu.

In addition to the above stuff i also have just yesterday installed a alternative option for the people who dont want to do surveys, which is paying for a lifetime 5 dollar subscription. It is very basic and I will finish before the sale, but already with the login scripts basic design i have gotten 5 subscriptions today.

I am looking for upwards of 40,000 dollars for this site which is a huge bargain.

    Here are screenshots of profits:

    Here are the stats:

This site looks like a great proposition but what about copyright issues?

I do not host the episodes and I did not upload them nor do I tell people to upload them. They are just uploaded to some video sharing sites, one being smotri which doesn't take videos down.

SO therefore I am only linking to the videos and having them appear on my page like any video indexing website would.

"This movie has been removed due to infringement."

LMFAO...just thought that was funny. Anyways, cool idea but a couple appraising sites have your site priced right around all the same. These appraising locations are inaccurate, but I would venture to guess that they are not off by $19,750 dollars...

    Site Value Report
The estimated value of http://www.simpsonsepisodes.com is: $250

This value is calculated based on several factors shown above, including: Links, Traffic (Alexa), age of the domain, site category, domain keyword popularity, and overall occurrences of the domain name on the web.

You can buy and sell established sites in the dnScoop Marketplace.

Sorry but appraisal sites do not look into cpa affiliates like cpalead. I showed proof. You have the statistics and you can see it is worth much more then 20000

Wow, the owner of the site uses these forums?

I use that site every now and then as a matter of fact.

Something I always wondered about that site what are you using a Content Management System?

If so, what is it? Seems to be very WordPress-like.

All the coding and layout is custom made besides the comment script.
I also used a SMF forum and really customized it.
And thanks for the compliment! I worked very hard on it

    Not at all.

So you're saying you did it all yourself?

    Very nice then.

Did you build your own CMS (or have someone build it for you), or are you just updating the code by hand each time you add a video?

Because without a CMS that value would plummet.

Yes I did it all myself, but it was not too hard.

It is run with php includes, making a new video page can be done in a matter of seconds. Making any other pages also takes a matter of seconds. Very very little programming skills are required.

I would send instructions with the site.

you would have a far greater chance of selling in the premium websites section of the sitepoint marketplace
